Very nice, fresh leaves, perfect for Indian& Indonesian cuisine.Tejpatta, tejpatra or Indian Bay Leaf is the dried leaf of the Cinnamomum tamala tree and has different qualities from the Laurus nobilis leaf that is commonly sold as "Bay Leaf". Tejpatta has a mild cinnamon flavor or cinnamon-clove flavor to it, while bay laurel imparts a woodsy or earthy flavor.Cinnamonium Tamala, Godrej Nature's Basket, Facebook is my usual source, but I thought I would try Asli brand from Amazon this time & I'm very pleased with their product.
