Purchased for Fantasy Forest festival (think taking a metal sword would have got me no entry). Fitted fine in my sword frog and looks pretty good. Did not do any mock fighting as for looks only so not sure how well it will hold up to battles but feels pretty sturdy to me. Would recommend as a costume decoration for Halloween etc.

Perfect for a visual prop. Prompt delivery, no issues with the seller. This will not hold up to physical use for long, (or at all) as the foam is not dense enough. But it looks the part.

This is not a LARP sword at all. If you want it for a costume then it will be okay. I purchased as a first LARP sword to try out at Empire LARP this year, I took it to the weapons tent (where they test your weapons) and they were horrified. There is 0 give in the tip, if you forcefully jab at somebody it would leave a nasty bruise, or as the weapons checker stated, this would easily take somebodies eye out. To add to that there were several other new players which had obviously purchased the same sword for their first event that got the same treatment. Upon arriving home, I thought maybe it just needs a bit of bashing around to soften it up, nope, I jabbed it at my living room wall (smart I know), and it actually left a small dent in the plaster. If you gave this to a child to go and play with their friends, it could cause a serious injury, this is cheap and for costume purposes (and at that it has a mould line the whole way round. Its a strange choice as the only suitable area that was passed by the LARP officials was the hilt, which was much softer, its like they have coated the blade in titanium paint.

Overall a great prop sword, only downside being the tip of the sword is softer/more flexible than I'd want it to be so if you're not careful it can get damaged pretty easily. Otherwise great and easy to customise with paint to fit costuming needs.

Nice looking prop sword. It does tend to bend a little when it's swung, looks like the real thing an looks good wall mounted.

Tolles Schwert, aus nem festen Schaummaterial, stabil und trotzdem leicht und entspricht von der Optik genau meinen Vorstellungen, ebenso die Größe ist genau richtig. Habe es mir für meinen St.Martins-Ritt bestellt (auch wenn das Design historisch nicht einem röm. Soldaten entspricht) und finde es klasse! Der Preis ist vielleicht ein bisschen hoch, aber der Kauf hat sich dennoch gelohnt!

Feels realistic and weighty without being overly heavy. Looks legit. Metal blade portion is foam that is coated in not nearly as metallic paint as pictured yet still looks very real. Perhaps in person that’s why it’s more realistic, because it’s not overly perma-shiny and a dead giveaway it isn’t real metal, with light playing off it with normal movement? Sized for an adult, not a small child. Our 14 year old is 5’6 and needed a Viking sword for his Halloween costume and this didn’t disappoint. Great price for what you get. Very happy with it.

Excelente para entrenamiento Soft, un poco larga la espada pero cumple con el objetivo, es bastante resistente y en entrenamiento con niños funciona de maravilla.

L'épée est superbe et permet de faire des combats moyennant de prendre quelques précautions d'usage : les coups portés peuvent quand même faire mal même si c'est de la mousse. Je recommande et je vais même m'en prendre une pour moi. Comment mieux se défendre que s'équiper soi-même !
