Review: A great gift that is years of fun! - I remembered playing with these multi-colored blocks for most all of my childhood, building forts, sets for plays and hiding behind walls for nerf fights. Once my oldest son was 2 years old, I knew I wanted to get some of the same blocks for him that had brought so much joy to my own childhood. With 2 boys now, we have purchased two sets of blocks because they always want to build more and larger structures. These are such a great gift for 2+ year olds, the use can change and grow with them, and I am confident these will continue to be a popular choice to play with for my boys for many years to come! They do take up space to store, but are very easy to stack and stay put. We store ours in drawers and on shelves. They get very regular use and the bright colors are really fun.
Review: A big hit with my grandson. - The one thing I remember from kindergarten was that they had a set of these blocks in the play area and I loved playing with them. When my girls were born I got a set for them and it lasted through many hours of play and in fact when my first set of grandchildren came over to our house I still had them for them to play with. They loved building castles and bridges and just towers for hours on end and then knocking them all down. Recently my other daughter had two grandsons and I decided to splurge on a new set for them. The youngest is only a month old so he hasn't been involved in it but his older brother who is two loves building with these blocks. I must say I was very impressed with how sturdy they were. In some ways they are heavier duty then the name brand ones probably because manufacturer produces heavy duty storage boxes for company records.
