I was stupid and left my battery connected to the light for several weeks. Even though the light was technically "off", the circuitry still draws a small amount of current. After I discovered this, I tried recharging the battery, but after 24 hours, I got maybe 2 minutes worth of light. Bought the replacement and I'm back with several hours of bright light and a fair replacement cost. The new design is also much slimmer and more weatherproof than the nylon bag that came with the original battery.

This battery pack works just fine with my current light which I’ve had for 10 years or so. The old pack finally gave out, so it was time for new one. I was pleased to find a replacement that would fit, and as an added bonus, it has a longer rated running time. In my case, I just sort of crammed it into my original pouch. It was a slightly tight fit, but it works just fine. So I’m back in business with a nice, bright light. The price is reasonable. The connector matches so installation couldn’t be simpler. I do recommend it.

I had an old battery pack that wouldn't even give me an hour on full power on my main headlight maybe 2 hours on low before it was empty. After charging this one, I used my light for 3-4 hours on 3 separate trips, on low with a good amount of high mode use, before I chose to recharge it. It wasn't even empty yet when I charged it. I'm blown away at how long it seems to last with my light compared to my old batteries. It really adds a lot of piece of mind, being fairly sure you're light battery won't run out mid-ride. Update 11/28/16 The connector doesn't make a connection anymore with the charger or a light. I'm 99% sure it has plenty of charge. I think something inside the barrel connector got disconnected somehow. Going to contact the seller. The seller offered me a pro-rated battery to replace the broken one. Update: 10/08/17 So it happened again. I was out riding at night this time when my light went out. I Unplugged and replugged, and moved the cables around a little and could get the light on if I pushed the wire and connector together a little, and managed to get home by using a literal bandaid to try and keep it in such a way that it stayed on. It disconnected as I pulled into my driveway. The cells inside are still very very good, but they can't make a connection. These seem to last about a year/couple thousand miles before the wire going into the barrel connector seems to get loose somehow, despite my best efforts to ensure there was no stress on the connectors. Its happened twice now and I'm getting a battery case to put the batteries into instead of getting yet another replacement, unless they can offer a free one.

This pack was a step above the rest in both the extra capacity as mentioned in the product description and the general construction of it. The case it is wrapped in is burly and well-stitched, with nice finishing touches and the Velcro is so strong, it is actually a little difficult to undo! Excellent replacement, and I'm not compelled to look any further.

so far so good, got 3 batteries for a 3 day race. no way to charge. these were the only thing i could find that lasted all night on low. plus no rediculous expensive. 1 bad plug so i just bought 1 more battery.

Worked for an hour and the light went out and then wouldn't recharge.

Bought as a replacement for original battery pack. Has same issue last one had. I'll charge it, but if I don't use right after charging it won't work a few days or weeks later. Design has some sort of parasitic drain going on. So it's keep it plugged in constantly or leave it dead until you think you'll need it. My problem is I only use it for winter mountain biking. So it sits dead for months before I'll use it again.
