Excellent quality travel brush set. I use it at home too. Not cheap, but I expect to serve me for many years to come. Highly recommend it!

I like them but the ultimo is a little bit hard to keep, because sometimes you need to be extremely carfeful to fit the size of the tube

I love this travel brush combo. They are the perfect-sized brushes for my travel urban sketching. The quality is excellent, and the carry pouch feels well-made and durable. The brushes are easy to clean and maintain. They retain their shape well and collapse to half their size to store away. These brushes hold lots of water and pigment. Very impressed. I love the green and chrome color style on the handles.

Brushes are nice. Bristles are exactly the same as regular size brushes. The pouch is not as nice as pictured. The color is more pale and I saw loose thread. Return was extremely difficult. It’s been 16 days during which time I contacted CS twice. 1st time said return would be credited within 3-5 days and it didn’t happen. 2nd time said the same thing. Up till today it’s been 6 days and it hasn’t happened yet.

This is a great travel brush set. The set was everything I expected to receive. Using them has been super fun; they paint so nicely! So much so, that I bought the red, blue, black, and green set! Happy and satisfied!

Difficult to paint details even with the smallest brush. Water retention OK. The two sections of the brush are not threaded for storage but the two halves press together. I have had the handle and brush sections fall apart during use. You might want to upgrade to one of the better offerings for travel brushes from Escoda. I still use the brushes for Urban Sketching.

These are my favorite travel watercolor brushes! I have Princeton Neptune, Silver black velvet and now these. After comparing their performance these are much better in terms of water and color distribution and retention, they feel more comfortable in the hand as the design due to their design and I found it outperformed the others. They have a good snap and keep their point. This is a great set of travel brushes and it will be my go to set when I go to paint plein air. And even at home! Highly recommend them!

Cercavo un set per le avventure artistiche all'aria aperta e ho trovato un set eccellente, non economico, che dopo averlo provato e messo a confronto con altri pennelli sintetici medio-economici ho capito il perché costano molto di più! Versatil: eccellente assorbimento dell'acqua e rilascio altrettanto eccellente, lo stesso vale per il colore! Ottimi per ogni tecnica con acquerello, tirano su un sacco di colore su carta in cotone (in inglese si dice "lift", non so bene in italiano come si chiama), se carichi di acqua e colore coprono circa il triplo della superficie di un normale sintetico generico economico. Il Perla assorbe molto meno, ma è un altro tipo di pennello, cmq molto preciso! Il 12 Versatil è ha una bellissima punta e se non si lavora su dettagli troppo piccoli può essere usato come pennello unico, per tutto il resto c'è il 6, che è davvero un pennellino prezioso con le stesse caratteristiche. Anche se sono concetti diversi, con fibre diverse, con forme diverse, con processi produttivi diversi, li considero validi e utili quanto i bombasini della serie Unico Infinito della B&B (di cui ho l'8 e lo 0 che uso rispettivamente come mop e pennello unico). Al momento uso questo set all'aperto/per urban sketching e gli Unico infinito a casa, relegando gli altri sintetici medio economici da viaggio e da studio all'uso con la gouache. Comunque set consigliatissimo! Fa la differenza!
