I'm always skeptical of these 'product promises', but in this case the Phillips toothbrush actually does what it promises! My teeth felt super clean and sparkly right from the first time of using. I've had it for a month or so now, and I'm surprised how well it performs, plus the battery charge lasts me for at least a week. It was great to take with me on my Christmas trips so I didn't need to worry about a thing. There are several different settings, the storage case is very sleek and neat, you charge up your toothbrush via the case itself. I chose the white one after much deliberation, because they all look good. As a relatively expensive item I was happy with the overall product, which was definitely good value for money, easy to use, and looks good as well. If you've never used an electric toothbrush just remember to place it in your mouth before turning it on, and wrap your lips around it like a straw. Then you won't get splashed by the toothpaste. I highly recommend this product if you want to take extra good care of your teeth, and have that Hollywood smile.

Love it! Originally had the 5100 sonicare. Loved that but gave up after a few years and refused to charge. Then had manual but always hated brushing my teeth as it didn’t feel as clean and don’t like the sensation of a manual toothbrush. Saw this on Boxing Day sale for £89.99 and just had to snap it up. It has more modes than my last one which only had three. I love the different modes as you feel like your teeth are getting a deep clean. You can chose the sensitivity which is great as it can be quite loud on the highest setting. Like being at the dentist! Really impressed as this was delivered before it said it would be, and got the free shipping. Think it came within a day. Was also charged which is a bonus. Would recommend signing up for the extra year warranty, it comes in the package and takes a few minutes but definitely worth it. A downside to these toothbrushes is they do give up sometimes sooner than expected, hopefully this won’t as it’s a newer model. Also you might need a two pin adapter as it’s a two pin plug! You can order a Phillips charger with the normal plug, I did this as charger can get wet in bathroom and just cause problems. So happy I managed to catch it whilst there was a deal. Deffo recommend.

I have only been using this a few days and already I have noticed a difference with the clean feeling after brushing. I have swapped from an electric toothbrush of a leading competitor and I’m glad I did! With early signs of gum disease, I followed the advice from my dentist and switched to a Sonicare. The different settings are great to have, the head of the brush is slimmer and has softer bristles compared to my old electric toothbrush. The Sonicare cleans much better and definitely not as harsh, as I have had no gum bleeds since using this. The product came with 4 heads and head cover and a high quality hard case for travel use. The quality of the brush is really good and light too. The only confusion is how to turn it off, but I haven’t read the user manual yet. I would not have spent £249, as I feel that is too expensive for a toothbrush. Purchased for much less during the Black Friday event and glad I did. The battery was almost fully charged from taking out of the box, so not needed to charge it yet. Very pleased so far.

This is my fourth (or fifth?) Philips Sonicare toothbrush. They are very good initially, but I've found they tend to "die" shortly after the expiry of the warranty. My dentist and dental hygienist both complement me on my dental care, so I persevere with purchasing replacement Sonicare brushes! This one seemed a fair balance between the very expensive and the basic models

Our old ones weren't holding their charge very well so decided to upgrade to these in the prime days , but bought for xmas as it was still a substantial purchase for us. I've only been using for 2 weeks but I can't arf feel and SEE a difference. I'm using the deep clean setting, I have sensitive teeth but use sensodyne rapid relief toothpaste so haven't found a problem with them. They both arrived fully charged however the black one came with a little stand and the white one didn't. (Its a little opaque square plastic) it was mentioned only with the black one when I ordered, I just thought it a little unusual and that id mention incase it helps another buyer. Also not tried it with the app yet. One reason for getting this was the many heads and chargeable travel case which we've kept in our suitcases for now. Great new bit of kit! We can't get a dentist as they're all going private by us , so it was another reason to get new toothbrushes , gotta look after those pearly whites as both in our late 50s now!! Good value for money as we paid something similar many years ago when we got the original ones

Have always used Philips electronic tooth brushes for the last 15+years. I purchased this 7900 Series (HX9631-18) as a present for my partner. It only lasted 10 days before it would not keep its charge. The lights on the handle kept flashing once the 2mins cleaning cycle had completed and then flashed all through the night. The morning after the battery had discharged itself completely. I tried charging the toothbrush different ways but it would continue to flash after the cleaning cycle had completed and continue to do so until it lost its charge again. Returned it to Amazon for a replacement. Amazon returns service is excellent - simple to return product to local shop and received a replacement Philips 7900 toothbrush the following day. Unfortunately, when I opened the box there was no USB cable to charge the toothbrush! Called Amazon Customer Services and tried to get an USB cable. This was not a option - so I returned the replacement toothbrush and ordered a 3rd Philips 7900 toothbrush! Once again Amazon returns service was excellent. The 3rd Philips 7900 toothbrush arrived today and guess what - no USB charging cable!!! What are Philips quality control doing? The product packaging clearly indicates a USB charging cable beside the travel case. There was an USB cable with the first Philips 7900 that I ordered. Undecided whether to return the 3rd Philips 7900 toothbrush and ask for a refund, or order an Oral B toothbrush instead? If you are considering purchasing one of these Philips 7900 toothbrushes - please read the other reviews and purchase with caution. Possible poor battery life, no USB charging cable and the lights may continue to flash all through the night/day until the toothbrush loses charge. Buyer beware. You have been warned! Oh - forgot to mention the Sonicare App - don’t bother - what a waste of time (that’s if the handset’s Bluetooth connection actually connects to the app). Buyer beware. You have been warned!

I’ve had Oral B electric toothbrushes for over 10 years now. When my most recent one stopped working after 2 years use I decided to try Phillips instead. My first impression is that the toothbrush looks amazing, high quality and well made. It feels good to hold, not chunky and sits nicely in the hand. I also like that the toothbrush heads come with protective covers. I’ve used the toothbrush for a few days now and I’m so impressed. I find it far superior to any Oral B I’ve had. I used the Deep Clean mode the first time and honestly felt like I’d come out of a hygienist appointment. Since then I’ve been using the Whitening mode and this also feels great. I prefer the shape of the toothbrush head, it doesn’t seem to irritate my gums plus it feels like it actually gets between the teeth better. Extremely happy with it so far, and a massive improvement on its rival.

It is expensive but I personally think it’s worth the investment. Like others have said they can break, so look into the warranty and keep your receipt. I had an issue with a previous one that broke a little over a year but I’m happy to report it was replaced so while it was disappointing the customer service was good. The look is sleek, and it’s easy to use. Holds the charge well and has different cleaning options including gum care.
