My wife is a rainbow titanium collecting nut. She also fishes. With a birthday & anniversary due at the end of this month thought it would be "different". Wasn't expecting too much from the quality side! Pleasantly surprised. I have fished for over 50 years and with reels am a dedicated Shimano man! This reel is very light weight, but lightened in the right places. It is also very smooth and the line lay is very good (used my normal luke warm water in a bucket method). There is a line clip - looks line friendly but time will tell. The bail arm is positive and closes quickly on rotation. Good retrieve ratio. Comes with a soft bag - not mentioned in the sales brief. In all surprising good. Would be good to be able to buy spare spools. I would thoroughly recommend this product - exceptional value for money and unusual too.

I love the look of the real it looks well made if only it was bigger that's the problem from dying from photos but I will give it a try on the spinning rod which I'm waiting for see how it goes

First the good bit, i loved the look and colour but. Was a lot smaller that what i thought for the price and not as sturdy, when said saltwater spinner i had idea would do for sea fishing, when open it was very very surprised it only 5 inch long has a tiny line holder, not hold enough for river fishing let alone sea. When looking it over the black part at the back broke so am unable to send back as i damaged it. Ill drive the 10 miles to a shop next time not get caught out again.

I'm a little bit of a tackle tart and bought this reel as it matched the purple on my drop shot rod..but I must say, I'm really impressed with it. Line lay is perfect, it's smooth, casts really well and also looks the part. Really pleased I purchased, it's well worth the money.

The drag sticks bought for a ultra light setup size 1000 reel if a decent size fish comes along and the drag sticks the fish is gone. No good can get a much better reel for the price
