They are what they say they are....
Don't listen to people who don't know what they are dealing with.. This product is simply amazing.. One request would be to not listen to mp3 with this product. Pair it with a hi-def player and it is just pure bliss...

Best for bass heads, been using for over a year now.
Hey there....I got tired of reading the lame reviews here so decided tonight to write a few words as these IEMs really deserve every bit of them.I got them from the official website directly when they were available there.I just do not get the stupid reviews here. These are one of the best IEMs for bass heads out there period!I pretty much own and have tried every bass oriented IEMs from UE, Sony, Aurisonics, Fender, 64 audio etc. etc. and also compared to many other IEMs I own like the Shure 846, Sennheiser and many others zzzzz.(btw for a day to day wireless option the Sennheiser Momentum are the best bass oriented wireless earbuds out there as of writing of this review in my opinion in case you are looking for one,NOTE: they do have some battery issues).Attached here is a picture of some of the IEMs I had lying around the table so you can trust my words a bit more. This is my honest review as I do not work for any of these companies or received them for free.I have also compared this Roxanne 2 IEM to some new options like the Audeze LCD-i4 and the Shure KSE1500 Electrostatic Earphone System which are amazing if you need a more balanced/reference IEMs, but these are very decent if you are mostly looking for that warm, punchy and kicky bass out of every song which offers it.I am waiting on the new Sony IER-Z1R Signature Series IEMs so will update once I get my hands on them. When I bought these, they were on sale saving me about 200 bucks. Now expect them to be selling for the SRP or more as time passes by.If you are looking for a cheaper option as a bass head then I would suggest SONY XBA-Z5 or Fender Kicker. Always look at the frequency response before buying in the specifications of the IEMs. The lower first number in Hz = better the bass production will be in short. This can be useful as most of us do not get to try them before we buy them which is a dud. This is a generalization as many other factors contribute towards the bass. Sometimes a 10Hz lower frequency IEM may have a better bass than a 3 Hz one due to how the drivers are configured by the manufacturer, the casing materials, casing design and cable materials etc. One thing is sure that anything with a frequency of 10Hz or less will have amazing bass production. For example a range of 3 Hz - 40 kHz (Sony IER-Z1R) frequency response is better than a range of 10 Hz -23 kHz (Roxanne II) frequency response and both 3 Hz or 10 Hz number indicate a great bass reproduction regardless of whether you use a DAP or DAC or not ;). Roxanne II is better than the Sony IER-Z1R even though the Sony has a 3 Hz lower number because of the premium materials and other factors I mentioned above are used and the specific configurations mastered by James Harvey. I would say 10Hz or lower is my safe number when selecting bass oriented earphones or headphones as anything above has not delivered what I have been searching so far (which is a solid bass). Please do check some online articles on the same if you need more information. I only wanted to write a few words on these IEMs as not only do I own them but they are freeaaaking amazing by any standard and deserve a lot more than just a few stupid reviews. If you can afford, buy with confidence and enjoy.Highly recommended for bass heads.Best!

Overpriced piece of crap
these headphones don't deserve to be worth 100 dollars but they are charging 1400!!!!I am using it with Astel Kern 120ii with balanced cable ........ poor soundstage, poor lower frequencies , but treble is tight.they are so uncomfortable that ears start hurting within 30min usage.I tried rather cheaper 1more 4 driver IEMs and they just sound AMAZINGGGG. I wish I could return astel kern Roxannesdon't waste money , don't waste money on these overpriced junk
