I am "average" in size. The device comes with size #4 and it was too small and hurt when I first tried it. I should have waited and ordered a larger size before ordering these. Since you won't know until you try the rings that come with the device, do not re-order until then. The device comes with a "chart" that will help you measure YOUR device. Use that chart before you reorder these rings. Also - BE CAREFUL!! You must read the instructions carefully because it tells you how to properly place the ring on yourself. I tried "practicing" before I went for the "real deal" and did not place the ring on myself properly and it hurt! If you don't place these rings on properly, one of your testicles will get involved and believe me, that is not fun. Once you get these rings the right size and properly placed, they work (and come off) like a dream. Good luck!
