Great value and quality
I decided to give these toner cartridges a little while so that I could write an honest review. Newer HP printers require OEM toner, so there is a tiny chip that needs to be on the toner cartridge. These toner cartridges do not come with that chip, but there are all the tools you need to transfer the chip from the old OEM cartridges to the new cartridges. The instructions are easy to follow and it worked for me on the first try. The print quality is great and I've had no issues. The only thing that sets these aside from an OEM part is that your printer might constantly say that there is low toner when there isn't. I haven't found a fix for this yet, but it hasn't affected the functionality of the printer at all. Overall, this is a great product with a great value. I will buy them again when I need new toner.

Didn't work
I only had to replace the black cartridge. The others still had ink in them. I replaced it. The tool destroys the old cartridge. This is by design. I got it in, but all instructions end there. There is noting about removing the ribbon and the orange shipping pieces, I had to figure that out on my own. There is nothing about the programming window and most video tutorials have some other screen (not the one that is actually on my printer), so there is no "option to click snooze". Mine is a hp color laserjet pro m182nw It puts out paper when I click on "print" but no black ink. The whole corporate world is geared to you giving up and purchasing something else. OH that there were a printer that didn't have ink that evaporated when you're not using it... that there were printers you could purchase that followed steps 1, 2, 3... and you're done! There are so many models that it's impossible to find information on one select model. Everything is generalized. This is true for everything nowadays. I could purchase a pair of gloves and there would come needing to be sewn together, but you'd have to purchase the sewing kit separately, the backs of the gloves would be missing and they would send blue ones when you ordered black. You could look up videos on how to get your gloves to work, and none of them would be your exact gloves... something in the video would not match your exact gloves and would make the assembly practically impossible. It's a wonder that people do not take to the streets with pitch-forks and refuse to purchase anything until they got their sh*t together and actually had customer service where you did not have to spend three hours on the phone waiting for a representative who doesn't seem to know any more than you do. Oh, and good luck finding a pitch-fork that actually works.

Pretty straightforward, very satisfied
Waited couple weeks to have enough time for chip transfer from original cartdridges. Finally got back to it and if I knew it will take 10-15 minutes for all four, I would have done it weeks ago. If you follow enclosed instructions and use supplied tools, it makes transfer a breeze. The "drill" tool crushes all plastic and chip will pop out, usually with plastic bits still attached to it. Use tweezers and supplied snips to cut all plastic bits and use the chip in new cartdridge. It slides right in, although if you haven't cleaned plastic bits it might take slight force to slide it in so it sets. Sounds complicated but it isn't. Once installed it does say ink low (as it is shown in their instructions), quality of print is superb. Thank You , will definitely buy again once these cartdridges will go empty.

Much easier than I expected - great product!
I was pleasantly surprised by how great these ink cartridges are. The instructions are flawlessly prepared, and you have all the tools you need to execute the chip replacement. It seemed scary at first, but it was super easy to do. Well worth the minimal effort to save so much money. And I have been printing for months with these without a single problem. I'll be buying these again when the time comes to replace the ink. I highly recommend giving these a try over HP's repalcements.

it works
Already past return window, luckily, following the instruction I got it work. Took me about 2 hrs to remove chips from the empty HP toners and to put them into these new ones. Considering very expensive HP toners, I think it was worth 2 hrs and saved me about 300 bucks. The only thing came out: the instruction says there will be a warning sign which does not affect printing. I did not see any warning sign but the printer shows "supply very low" which did not affect printing at all. So I decide to keep using it until colors fade out eventually. I gave it 4 stars as at this price we cannot compare its quality and easy installation with those of original HP toners. But it does require some patience and care to transfer old chips to the new toners. Hard to see the details and orientation of chips. So I used my iphone to zoom in to assist my sight. I felt very difficult to install the first chip to this toner but later after carefully/slightly adjusting the level and direction of the chip to the slot, I could push the chip into the end of slot without much difficulty. After I made the success on the 1st chip, I worked much faster on the remaining 3 chips. My printer is Color Laser Jet Pro MFP M182nm

Works but found a problem
It took a while, but I got all the chips removed and placed into the new toner cartridges. It works fine, but always shows as Very Low ink supply. This was not a problem until my black printing started to have a red shadow around it. I tried to align the print heads but it says I have to replace the very low ink before I can do that. Of course, I can't do that because these cartridges always show very low supply. I'd have to buy a new set of HP toner cartridges just to align my print heads, which is crazy. I don't blame the product, but it is a problem for me. I'm about to throw this HP Printer off a cliff and never buy another one. We should be able to use non-HP supplies with HP printers, especially if they are going to price theirs so ridiculously high. Anyway, be warned that the printer thinking it's always low on toner might be a problem one day.

Great value and same quality! Save ton of money!
The original HP cartridge is so expensive. I did not regret purchase True Image cartridge. I could not tell the quality and color different when I printed images or slide presentations. The box comes with picture instruction step by step on how to install the cartridge. Also the tools necessary are included inside the box. I am pretty happy with overall product especially the amount of savings that I will have in the long run. It definitely very good value for the money.

We had problems...
First, I would note the company has been responsive and is sending us a replacement tool and cartridge. Will update the review if that fixes the problem. Our experience with these cartridges has been a rough one. The process of removing the chip is not easy, but not impossible either. HP did a good job making a durable piece of plastic. The drill that is provided to make removal easier works, but it's housing cracked under the strain on the first cartridge. The handle snapped off on the second, rendering it useless. Fortunately they provide some handy clippers that allowed me to carefully carve out the remaining chips, albeit with more mess and more effort. Our print experience has not been good. Back printed fine before I put in the color cartridges, but the magenta and yellow cartridges suffered some unusual errors. The top two pictures are of color prints (page should be white). A cleaning cycle fixed the magenta issue, but it dumped enough magenta toner on that first page to bleed through the paper. The third is a black and white print...after two cleaning cycles. The yellow cartridge we were provided is very persistent. As it stands, I can't print. I can't even try to eek life out of the old cartridges since the chip removal process destroyed them. It's possible we just got a bad production. At nearly 1/3 the cost of mfr cartridges, I thought I would give these a chance. Hoping the replacements will fix this but next time I may just spend the extra and avoid some issues.
