AEROPRO TOOLS Pneumatic Impact Wrench 1/2-Inch Air Impact Gun

After using this impact wrench to complete a number of tasks, I was inspired to write this review. For ti's price, this unit is very impressive. compare to the three other impacts I use, it's much better all around. PROS: (1) Slightly smaller form factor makes it more versatile. (2) Surprising power! More powerful than budget full size models. (3) Simple one-finger power control by trigger. (4) Ideal for automotive and light truck wheel lugs and light suspension work. (5) Price is reasonable. CONS: (2) NO CASE !!! This is downfall of most power tools and hand tool sets. Either one is not provided, or it's an absolute joke. It's very disappointing and down right criminal that this nice impact does not come with a nice, durable case. Compared to "Air Cat" compact and Craftsman full size, it is much more powerful. You can actually hear the power difference. For a unit this size, this must have required very good engineering.

Bought this for more power and worked perfectly got my lignuts together in the rotors no problem

This impact is amazing. I paired it with one of those ultra quiet 8 gallon air compressors and it removed bolts off my car torqued to 180 ft lbs with no problem.

Seems to have good power, gave it 4 stars since the decal came in a bit worn. Everything else very well built. Feels durable as well.

So far this impact gun has been a life saver for me, I’m a diy mechanic working on an old f150 king ranch, so this tool has really enabled me to get more done faster! Highly recommend! The overall design is well balanced and the rubber coating makes it easy to hold onto with oily gloves on.

I've been using this for a week, and SO FAR it's 5 stars. For reference, I'm a lube tech at a dealership, so I use 1/2 inch impacts all day, every day, especially for tire rotations. All the time when I want to buy tools, I'm always skeptical of amazon BUT I will look anywhere else before I get on a tool truck. I was looking at tool truck impacts, which are about 500$ or the Ingersoll-Rands around 250-300$ so I decided to take a gamble on this 100$ air impact. If it lasts me at least 4-6 months ill have gotten my money's worth, considering i do rotates on at least 10 trucks a day. Let's do the math for 6 lug trucks, on average, 10 trucks a day, taking them off and putting back on thats 480 lugs a day, and they need to torque to 140ft lbs (and it EASILY does, checked by torque wrench). So, your application might be different, but I'm not going to use this once a week or once a month, and I'm not trying to break free from a 400ft-lb crank bolt or something wild. BUT, the only things I am worried about are the composite housing. The front half of the housing is made of metal, and the rear is composite. I'm not gentle with my tools, and I've already gotten some nasty scuff marks on the rear composite housing, so... yea theres my review

My old gun finally gave out, right in the middle of a heavy duty job. Had this overnighted and SO glad I did, it's way lighter and more compact than my old gun, easier to grip and change settings, and WAY WAY more powerful. Best of all, the value, it's hard to believe how affordable this is given the quality and utility of this tool... and so powerful, just gotta say it again, lol

Ever since my days working as an undergrad at the University of Nevada, Reno Motor Pool and Garage as a student worker where I helped change tires and repair flat tires I have always wanted a pneumatic impact wrench. This helped make that "want" turn into reality. The only thing that I would advise to watch out for is that the oil comes with the cone on the inside of the oil bottle and I couldn't get it out at first and when I squeezed it with enough force, it came out and squirted the oil all over like an adult film. Luckily I was already in clothes to work on the car that could get dirty. Once I settled the oil issue and screwed on the adapter, it worked for the job to replace my front brake pads, inner, and outer tie rods on my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder. I also picked up impact wrench drive socket set and torque stick set. Highly recommend if you are going to use it with working on cars. The only thing I wish is that there was a storage box/case for it. I would buy it, even if it were sold separately. I have all of my other pneumatic tools in their own case, but this one only came with the cardboard box. Would buy again.
