Bonsenkitchen toster TA8001 2-Slice Toaster, 1 Long Slots, High-Lift and Variable Width

Love this toaster as it takes bigger sliced bread. It’s slim and doesn’t take up too much room as well and looks smart in black and silver!

The toaster is easy to use. it’s long enough to fit 2 slices of bread but it’s not overly deep though. And it’s fairly large. Easy settings but could have done with a bagel settings. The slices come up high which helps to get them out.

I don't have a lot of counter space in my kitchen and when my old toaster decided to just stop I looked around for something that would take up less room. I hesitated at first in buying this thinking that it would be a bit problematic having 2 slices of bread in the same slot but it's been the best toaster I've ever bought. I make most of my own bread so this accommodations the different shapes the loaves often come out like. I love the fact it has 7 browning levels, most only have 6 and some of the wholemeal I make just needs that little bit more browning. Variable width and has a bun warmer. The slim design allowed me to slot the toaster into a space that usually wasn't being used, a win win for me and lack of space. Love this toaster.

This is an okay toaster for someone living on their own, two normal cut slices of bread from a 800g loaf have to be inserted upright so part of it doesn't toast, but one piece on its side does perfectly

Do not be deceived by the photo showing 4 slices as if their inner sides have been toasted and have just popped up! There is only one slot and, although it is quite long and reasonably wide, it will only toast 2 sides of whatever you put in it. Also, it is not particularly deep, and the toasting area is quite small, so don't hope to toast normal to large-sized bread slices in one go!

I didn’t even use this toaster before sending it back! The photo clearly shows 4 slices of bread in it and you can in fact only get one normal sized slice in it but only if you put it in on its side, not upright! I’m referring to ordinary Kingsmill sliced white for instance. There is only 1 slot and I can’t see how they can show 4 slices of bread in it? It wouldn’t work and I’d love to know where they got this miniature bread from? Two slices of Kingsmill do not fit side by side and if you put a single slice it vertically it would only toast the bottom 2/3.It’s as though it was designed by someone who had never actually seen a slice of bread before and had no idea how big it was.Do not buy this toaster if you want more than one slice of toast at a time!

I've given this 1 star as I ordered it because it's described as having a 30cm long slot. Unfortunately it's only 23.4cm long. Not much use to me given the one I want to replace is already bigger than this is.
