does this set come with pegs to fasten it down?

The frame is study and doesn't need pegs

Does it come with bats

Hi Martin, Thank you for reaching out to us. We hope you're doing well these days! Please be advised that our Portable Net Set does not come with bats. I hope this helps! Take care! Regards, Joy Boulder Sports Customer Champion

What is the maximum pole length for the 5.2m version? I would like to know if I could pack in a suitcase?

Lightweight and foldable, all parts are connected and pack down to just 3 ft in a carry case.

What stops the wind blowing it over?

Other than the big holes in the net! Haha It has essentially 3 points of contact at each end. Two legs pointing out at the ends and the centre strut that runs the width of the net. It feels really sturdy! I would also advise against playing badminton in strong winds. I like a challenge as much as the next person but that’s just not fun!!
