Works better than I expected
This thing is awesome! I'm a van dweller and don't have access to hot water. I have spent 3 months trying to figure out the best way to clean my pans quickly and thoroughly. To clean my cast iron all I do is boil a little bit of water and rub this thing on it dump it out and wipe it down with a paper towel. Its the same result every time with minimal effort. If you own a cast iron you I highly encourage you to also own one of these.

Just buy it!
I LOVE THIS! Durable, sturdy, works better than expected. I had to totally restore our very old family cast iron skillets. It was long process but this made the cleaning part of restoration much easier. This worked wonders and now that they look beautiful again I use it after every use.Bonus! I also found that it works perfectly to remove dried sourdough starter from my measuring cups, glass bowls and counter tops.I haven’t found anything that comes this close to effortless.Be careful, It will scratch your porcelain sinks though. I’m pretty rough with my sink so my Bar Keepers Friend takes care of the scratches.

cleans stuff out of your skillet well
Back in the 50's and 60's wen I was a kid, everyone's mom had one of these hanging inside a cabinet door or on a hook. They work really well for removing cooked on remains in your cast iron skillet. In fact, they excel at it. They will also work to remove burnt on food in a stainless-steel pot, although if you are having that happen often, you should probably watch a couple of cooking shows and re-think your cooking methodology and flame height....

Fine Cast Iron Scrubber!
This cast iron scrubber incorporates smaller and varied forms of chainmail, so I thought it might better aid in cleaning my pans. I was concerned, however, that those very characteristics might make it harder to keep clean, but that's not the case. This is a *really* good option for helping to take care of all your cast iron cookware.

The product is well made
I have just started to use this product to clean cast Iron skillets. I used it on a skillet with burned cheese on it and it was fairly tough to clean it, but that is expected. On your typical skillet with stew or stroganoff or taters this product should work well. It is possible to be overly aggressive and take up some seasoning with the chain mail but nothing more than a little cooking wont cure. The chain works very well for cleaning stainless bowls that have dried dough in them, that stuff is like concrete but the chain mail just works it off and doesn't load up like a towel or scotch pad.

My pans have never been this clean!
I haven't been using this for long, but so far it's amazing. Gets everything out of the cast iron pan and then just cleans up in a snap. I mess up so many rags and scrubbers by getting them full of the gunk that comes up off my pans - this totally avoids that. And - it's fun to use - really - I don't think I've ever said that about a cleaning product before ;)

Easy to use and clean
our go to for cast iron pans. We used to use scratch pad/sponge but food particles get trapped and are hard to rinse out. The Kitchensera is easy to rinse out and hang to dry. I complete the pan cleaning with paper towel followed by an application of cast iron oil.

Big Help!
For years I've wondered why my cast iron didn't stay "seasoned." I was cleaning it wrong. This is the perfect way to clean cast iron and this is the perfect product to do it with. A few swipes after cooking my breakfast and the frying pan is ready to be used again.
