I am that person that cannot sleep if there is one speck of light in my room. I bought this for a trip as I didn't know if the VRBO homes we were staying at would have room darkening panels. I definitely needed this for house number 2. Pluses: -It's super soft, even with the weighted filler (that you can move around to adjust where the weight goes) -It has an adjustable strap; it's not one size fits all -The lavender scent is very refreshing and calming -It made everything DARK -It was surprisingly comfortable to wear in 90+ degree weather and 100% humidity. I didn't sweat under it; it appeared pretty breathable (the VRBO had NO A/C) The not so great: Take note: I am not used to sleeping with anything on my face as I live in the middle of nowhere; a mask is not necessary at home. I love my weighted blanket, so I figured I'd enjoy a weighted eye mask. My eyeballs do not feel the same way. It wasn't painful uncomfortable but more like a bit of gentle pressure that mildy reminded me of sinus pressure but on my eyes instead of behind them (and if you're a chronic sinus sufferer, you know what I'm talking about). It wasn't enough to offput me from falling asleep as I could adjust where the weight was in my mask and was successful every night at bedtime to get it in just the right place but due to the fact I perform acrobatics in my sleep, the weight would move and may have added to my restlessness and thusly, the mask moving around (forehead, chin and floor). I did not keep it tight because my eyes didn't like the weighted pressure fully on them. Yet, it wasn't super loose either, I have to use my hand to actually move it (I'm certain my hair helped wiggle the mask about; thankfully it never got caught up in my long hair - another plus). Overall, I don't think there is anything wrong with the product. It was comfortable to put on, adjust and actually fall asleep in. I just think since I'm not used to it and my eyes didn't care for the pressure and I'm a samurai in my sleep (and it was HOT in the room), it just made for a difficult night.

I take my sleep incredibly seriously and this mask makes me feel like absolute royalty when I get in bed. The satin fabric is extremely soft and does not pull at my skin or tangle my hair in the back. The gentle pressure from the weighted beads is incredibly relaxing. It blocks out absolutely all the light and helps me fall asleep so much faster. It literally feels like a soft hug for your face. One realistic thing to mention is that if you toss and turn on your side, the weighted beads can occasionally shift around during the night. I found that adjusting the strap a little tighter keeps everything perfectly in place. If you are trying to romanticize your nighttime routine and actually get decent rest, you need this immediately.

Smells nice without being overpowering. A nice amount of weight to make it relaxing. Stays on during the night.

This mask is smooth and silky. Has a nice weight. It smelled lightly of lavender when I opened it, but it didn't last. The only thing I don't like is that there is no seam so the interior weighed beads aren't evenly distributed and they tend to fall one side. It's hard to even them out when you put on the mask. Overall I'm satisfied.

I bought this mask for my husband as an anniversary gift and he loves it. I have had a kitsch sleep mask for over a year and I totally love mine. I have a different style. His is perfect for him because he lives that cozy pressure on his eyes to help him sleep. This weighted mask does just that. And the lavender scent puts him right into relax mode once he pulls it out. Kitsch knows what they are doing!

I love Kitsch products, but I just came back from Las Vegas and this mask stained my hotel bedding. One star off for that, and another star off because no matter how I adjusted the strap, the mask moved in my sleep in a way that made my eyes uncomfortable when I woke up. With a better fit and no dye, it would be five stars. The weight was always nicely distributed when I moved from my side to my back and it was excellent at blocking light.

At first I loved this mask as I’ve loved all of my Kitsch products, but I noticed a few times that when I woke up my vision was blurry. I figured it was just adjusting to the light. This time is different- my vision is still blurry hours after taking it off and I wish I would have notified the reviewers mentioning this. Don’t risk it. I love the scent and the mask, but l like being able to see more.

Love the way this mask is scented and puts me right to sleep. There’s no light access when wearing this which is perfect for me, and I love how it’s adjustable! The weighted satin black sleep mask is the perfect gift!

I'm such a big fan of Kitsch products but this was such an unexpected gem. It's a lovely soft sent so not overpowering and the weight meant the mask didn't move so did a great job of blocking the light for me. Some people might find the weight pressure to much but for me it was really great.

If you lay on your side the beads fall to the lower side of the mask. The mask is very comfortable and that is not a deal breaker
