Bumperduo Front Bumper Protector, Medium

I bought the front and rear Bumperduo for my husband. We live in the city of Boston where parking can be a war at times. Sometimes we see people squeezed into the smallest spaces. The Bumperduo so far seems to ward cars from parking close. Perhaps it shows you care about your car more? Not sure. We bought the size according to the chart and seems to fit. The front bumper seems to slip if the cords are not hooked high enough.Overall, very pleased with the product.

It works if it had better straps to hold. Rubber material is good but way too heavy for cheap straps that end up falling off, no grip and the metal wire at the end of the hooks scratches your car.

I am NOT very satisfied with the product. It doesn't attach very well to my automobile. The bungee cords doesn't work well on my bumper. It also covers my fog lamps.

This is the front bumper version of the Bumperduo. While it is very similar to the rear version in overall design, the fit is a little less secure when traveling at speed. However, it remains a good option to protect from bumps and scrapes especially if you need to parallel park often.Both the front and rear versions of the Bumperduo are basically the same, in that they are a “rubber band” that is attached by bungee cords to the wheel wells. Installation of the front version is about as easy as the rear version, but you do need to remove your license plate when installing the front. That may be a problem if your plate is held by short screws, since the added thickness of the Bumperduo means the screw needs to be a little longer to grab the threads. Unfortunately, longer screws are not provided with the Bumperduo. Given the price point, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect them to throw in a few screws in various lengths.Installation is pretty straightforward. Two tips: go to the Bumperduo web site since they have more complete install directions than the sheet that comes in the box. Also, unfold the Bumperduo and let it air out for a day (or at least a few hours) before install to get rid of the plastic smell, plus have the material be more pliable.No complaints about performance in terms of protection. The material is thick enough to easily deal with a bump made while parallel parking (either when you’re the driver or when someone is parking in front of you). It’s not magic – a bang from another car will still dent your bumper, but it avoids getting scuffs and scratches from non-severe hits. It’s also good for some measure of protection against rocks and grit hits when driving, but the protection is limited to the area of coverage, which is smaller than a traditional front end car bra.I was not as pleased with the fit compared with the rear bumper version. No matter how I adjusted it, it did make some noise and shift a small amount when driving at highway speeds. It was not so severe that I had any concerns about it falling off, but it was annoying at times.As with the rear version, this is built for practicality, not looks. It’s better if you have a dark car since the black blends in better, but even so, it’s not what I would call sleek or pretty. But since this is designed for protection and not aesthetics, I won’t detract from the rating for that.I will drop this to 4 stars due to the fit issue. It’s not a major problem, and one that probably won’t be noticed if you mainly do city driving, but it can be annoying at times at highway speeds.[Sample provided for review]

Not what we expected. They way you clip the front bumper duo feels like anyone can just come and steal it. I didn't feel it was safe to leave my car parked outside with that on it.The quality is very good though. I just didn't like the way it clicked on the car. It didn't feel safe.

Bought it over half a year ago from their website, now I can't imaging parking in city with out Bumperduo, I'm no longer nervous about parking in tight spots and leaving my car there. Strongly recommend watching their instruction video on YouTube, it was very helpful for installing the front on my Altima. I did have to cut out slots for my turn signals, the etched grid on the inside was very useful, cuts came out pretty neat, and the bumperduo is still intact and strong. I attached pics i took right after i installed it I had it thru a tough winter, it lasts just fine, no sign of deterioration, its a really high quality material. If any cuts are needed i recommend doing on a cart board, its just easier and keeps the bumperduo clean. I took it off for car wash twice, and left it on 1 time after snow was over to wash it, stayed on just fine thru the wash, just needed to level it a bit. strongly recommend it.

Didn't fit my Dodge charger 2014

A friend of mine recommended this product. I checked out the website. The instructions seemed easy and clear to understand. I bought this product for the back of my bumper first and waited to see if it really worked. A few months later, my back bumper seemed as clean as before. I was so pleased with the product that I bought another one for the front of my car. It only took me 15 minutes to install them. Living in New York, I feel better knowing that my car is safe from those careless drivers while they park their cars.Thanks Bumperduo.
