Good quality
Came neatly packed in envelope. No broken leaves. For my cherry shrimp, mystery snails and rabbit snails. Good quality. Will definitely buy again and would recommend them.

These are the best; read my review
I ordered these in the past and here i am ordering them again but the smaller size. I've ordered elsewhere where the leaves do NOT have tannins and have a plastic feel. And once i ordered sort of tea bag type leaves that makes the water black. These, however, are perfect amount of tannins for my tank. Usually i boil the leaves and then cool the water and pour the tannin water into my tank. These are perfect. Thank you to the seller

Good value but leaves are cut in a strange way
The package has a good amount of botanical, the only complaint I have is that the leaves seem to be cut. I've never seen a leaf where the stem runs horizontally across the leaf.Again, great value but I do wonder if you don't get the whole leaf.

My cory catfish love these
I have been using Catappa Indian Almond Leaves in my 20 gallon tank for 6 months now, and my Cory catfish been laying eggs every 2 to 3 months since then. Because I use Filter Cartridges, it took 2 months to get the water the nice light brown color... I replace the leaves about every month as they break down. I want my Cory tank to look like the one at Baltimore Aquarium, MD. My Neon tetras, Dwarf Gourami and aquatic plants love the set up too!

Happy Fish
I was a little leery about getting them but my beta and the 3 tropical fish I have seem to be swimming around more. I’m happy and hope it keeps up.

Did not have a good experience.
Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with these leaves. I tried these leaves on three separate occasions, and got the same outcome that then turned detrimental. I have a 10gallon fish tank for one male betta. I also have four different live plants in my tank as well ( a mini anubia, christmas moss, and two moss balls).I made the mistake the first time and did not clean the leaf prior to putting it in the tank, several days later my tank was covered in red brown algae. First time… shame on me. Second time, I cleaned the leaf with bleach and made sure that it was completely sanitized. This time around, the tank started to look brown with no algae but sure enough brown/red algae started to bloom maybe a week later. Second time… shame on leaf? I was blowing through filters and having unnecessary water changes. My betta was loving the leaf though, he didn’t seem bothered by it and even made several bubble nest during those times. The last time around, I thought to myself, “maybe I am being a hypochondriac and need to just relax and let the leaf fully dissolve.” My betta has been responding so well to it, and he hasn’t shown signs of issues. I will just clean the unsightly algae and let nature run it’s course. This time I thought I was being clever and put a smaller (sanitized) leaf in a freshly cleaned, cycled tank. The water turned brown and it was very little algae, about two weeks passed, the leaf was almost fully dissolved. In that time, my boy Ultra (betta fish) made a massive bubble nest. I was happy as ever and then was extremely frightened the following days later, Ultra started to develop ick and fin rot. I immediately did a complete water change and quarantined Ultra. He was not happy whatsoever about the quarantine because it was the cup we bought him in from the pet store. I had to wait for the medicine because the local pet store did not have the bettafix we needed in stock. Last time… shame on the leaf!Final assessment, either these leaves are not the correct leaves, bad batch, or just plain incompatible for me. Either way I am not risking putting these leaves in any of my tanks ever again. I’m good. As for my plants and betta they are all in recovery, my plants ended up getting pretty sick too from the bacteria and algae. Just take precautions, for those that have had good experiences with these leaves, hats off to ya! I have no idea where I went wrong but I am content and so is Ultra and the plants with my setup without the almond leaves.

This isn’t about aesthetics…
My shrimp like these, but most of the leaves are broken to bits - very difficult to soak and place in the tank when the bits float to the top.
