Q: The dimensions are a bit confusing. My toilet seat is 4" thick ... will this fit on there or will it be too big?

It fits a standard toilet sit, but you may lift the sit, and try it that way since the measurements are different.

It is a little wide, we use tape on the sides to keep it from rubbing his inner thighs. Just masking tape. Works very well at keeping the urine in the toilet.

I don’t think it would. But can’t be sure. It didn’t fit on my square seat but mine was too thick so it wouldn’t stay on
