Love this brand. Gloves are great quality and last. Good thickness and roomier than others I've tried so I can take on and off with ease. I wear a size sm/med in gloves. This is a 2nd pair I bought after I accidently destroyed my last pair after 6 yrs.

I ordered these gloves for when using a super heated oven while baking bread in a cast iron Dutch oven after discovering that a simple towel or cloth mitts were not enough to protect my hands and did not prevent burns or scorching when handling such a super heated cooking pot. Well, I cannot express enough at how amazed I was to find that these gloves were absolutely and completely effective with regards to heat resistance, no heat transference whatsoever and the length of the gloves is great for protecting the wrists and upper parts of the wrists of which are often the areas that are frequently burnt in ovens. I have also used the mats that were part of the set and they too are a great addition, specifically, in my situation, great to have on the stove to not only dissipate the heat but to prevent heavy hot lids sliding off the stovetop whereby one would usually grab them and burn hands when grasping for the slippery son of a gun. Believe me, when you grab a hot cast iron lid when it decides to head towards the floor it is not at all an experience you wish to go through. I completely and totally endorse this product and would recommend 100%.
