**Q: Does this need to be installed the mesh in a bed of mortar first or can I apply my mortar as I tile and do it all in one step?**
A: Hello, you can apply your mortar as you tile, however if you choose this method to install you must make special effort to see that all wires are well covered with mortar. If a heating wire is not covered with mortar there will be no heatsink and the wire will run to hot. As long as the wires are well covered it'll be fine.

**Q: Do I need anything else other than what is included in the Kit (mesh, controller, sensor, etc)?**
A: Hello, this kit includes all you need, Heating mat, thermostat controller, floor sensor and a continuity monitor for peace of mind during installation.

**Q: I have an entryway with 45 sqft, then stairs to a landing 20 sqft, then stairs to a landing 45 sq feet.  Can 1 kit connect 3 landings on 1 control? la**
A: Hello, yes you can connect multiple mats to a single thermostat providing the max load on a 120v circuit does not exceed 1800watts (150sqft). We also offer the mats only, refer to ASIN B083XG9BBB.
