Worked just as promised. Bought a security camera to replace one that wasn't working. The old camera was powered via PoE, the new camera was powered via micro B. I really didn't want to route the new cameras power cable through the walls and ceiling so decided to give this a try. I plugged my ethernet cable in one end of the adaptor and plugged the camera into the micro b plug. The camera powered up and works perfectly. This little gizmo has saved me hours and hours of work.
