Extremely long chopsticks!
The length of these were not lying! There is a material that coats the chopsticks and I'm unsure of what it is, but they overall are great

Great for Cooking
I've been using chopsticks for the past 43 years now and I find that you can eat just about anything with them. I've even used chopsticks for cooking, but you need to be careful using regular chopsticks meant for eating. So I finally decided to order myself a set of cooking chopsticks which I should have done years ago. Trying to decide on what type to get is the difficult part. Thin pointed chopsticks can cause a problem trying to pick stuff up with out dropping stuff where as if they're too fat, then you may have a problem picking stuff up. Metal chopsticks can conduct heat which can be a problem depending on the type of cooking you're doing. Also if the surface is too smooth, then it makes it easy to drop stuff. Forget about plastic chopsticks as those can melt and have no strength what so ever. I'm used to using Bamboo chopsticks as they are strong and don't usually bend when you use them. These chopsticks feel solid, don't flex when I use them and I'm able to use them for what ever I'm cooking whether it be deep frying, using a wok (though sometimes you need something other than chopsticks), or when using a skillet. Using these prevent you from getting spattered by hot oil and keeps you from getting scalded by hot steam. So I'm satisfied with these.

Good for cooking not for eating with
Here is what I like: length, sturdiness, texture (see note following), price Here is what to know before buying: they are good cooking utensils but not good eating utensils. Why? Their texture is very rough which is great for gripping items but certain foods stick to them and they feel rough to the lips.

Big chopsticks!
I gave it 5 stars for "I ordered big chopsticks and recieved big chopsticks." Nice finish, good for cooking. The people that run the chinese buffet do look at me wierd when I pull these out :) Like "Oh! Look at this one showing off to other customers how much better with his long chopsticks, but he don't know they for cooking" Just joking, but that would be funny :)

The extra length works better
I ordered two packages of two pairs of these chopsticks and one set of the pairs were slightly thicker in diameter than the other set but both sets are beautiful and work just fine, well, they are hand crafted. These are a bit longer than ordinary sticks yet their extra length makes a luxurious difference, so go ahead and treat yourself to luxury and better control of lifting rice from its bowl. Enjoy! Edit: Longer chopsticks are available but they are intended more for cooking and kitchen use. Chopsticks of this length are intended more for individual use and are the sort used in better Chinese restaurants where the only utensils you would find on a table in front of you would be a pair of chopsticks and sometimes a spoon, with forks on request. Shorter chopsticks get the job done but these chopsticks simply work better.

OK product
Great and easy to use on non stick but I noticed after one wash in dish washer, the wood felt a bit rough, like I would get a splinter if I ran my fingers along it
