solid construction ,bright light, water resistant complete kit
my first impression on opening the box is the solid construction of this light. This flashlight is built like a tank and made to tolerate the harsh conditions one encounters especially ocean diving. All they recommend you do is rinse it with tap water after you come out. Charging is effortless and the complete kit includes a cable and a charging platform for the battery with led's letting you know the status of the charge. red while charging green when complete hopefully you can see that in the enclosed photos. The kit is quite complete, including, lanyard, charging dock, charging cable, replacement "orings" instruction booklet in multiple languages, and of course the flashlight itself. the light itself is very bright and will be invaluable on night dives. listed as 4000 lumens at full brightness. it has 3 modes high, medium, and low. They list it as 4000, 2000, and 1000 lumensyou definitely want to use that lanyard as the flashlight will sink like the proverbial stone if dropped underwater!in summary a nice bright addition to your dive kit

Burn time too low
I test VOLADOR Flashlight DF40 on 6 dives. I test it up to 100 feet and not planning to test at 150m, three O-ring with solid body look impressive and with good maintenance should survive for long time for my dives, not sure about surviving 15atm.I compare DF40 with Big Blue Dive Lights AL1000NP which cost twice. Both have same 10deg spot angle DF40 spot slightly larger but still under 10deg, it is brighter, but I doubt it is by 4 time as spec 4000/1000lm.Switch designed good, its easy to fill it without looking even in thick gloves but not easy to turn on by accident. Power indicator color not easy to see at angle. Strong adjustable wrist strap with big loophole. I did 3 dives with original VOLADOR 5000mAh battery and 3 with ICR26650 8000mAh.With full charged VOLADOR battery power indicator went red and light level go down to impractical level after less then 30min even not continuous usage on a max level, battery defiantly wasn’t discharge to 10%, each time it took less then 2000mAh to charge it back, second battery last even less, about 15min. My AL1000NP last easy for over hour dive without going to red.I would not be surprised that other people will be luckier, and their flashlight will not go to protect state so early

Solid little light
Sturdy, durable build, with a nice wrist strap that cinches down tight, even for small wrists. I hate when lights have too big a strap and it takes more work to get it on secured properly. Very bright light and the magnetic switch has some resistance so bumping it shouldn't be as big a problem in your bag (though I would still give the light a turn so it doesn't drain the battery in case it does come on). Rechargeable battery too.The lux images included were taken from a couple inches from my phone, so I'm not really sure how it converts to lumens, but I will say I'm confident it's at least the 4000 lumens it advertises.

Love the flashlight but had to replace my first one after one dive
I actually really like the size and brightness of this flashlight. However, after one dive and a recharge, I got down into a wreck where I went to turn on my light and it was dead. This wreck dive was one day after my first dive with the light. The good is it reminded me to test all my equipment on the boat before a dive.Amazon replaced it immediately and I am using the new one without issues. The compactness and brightness out weigh the pain I went through to replace.

Worked for 5 minutes
I took it scuba diving and it worked for five minutes. After five minutes it started strobing and the button would not work. After strobing for a few minutes it turned off and wouldnt turn back on. Dont waste your money. Buy a quality flash light.

Didn’t turn on
Didn’t work. I’d already received a refund as it got lost during shipping and arrived two months late so not a huge loss on my part. Tried different (compatible ) batteries when it wouldn’t turn on and still wouldn’t turn on. I think the power button might have been broken. Maybe damaged while lost in transit so didn’t seem fair to give it 1 stars.

Great secondary light. No lockout.
Very bright, very well made, tested to 120 multiple times. On the downside, there is no locking feature on the light so it is barely easy to accidentally turn on in transportation or while strapped to you if you hit it the wrong way.

Lights up but then flickers and shuts off
Lights up but then flickers and shuts off. Very bright when it's on though.
