The media could not be loaded. My dog loves this snuffle mat. She looks forward to her meals with the mat and keeps her busy for at least 10 minutes. This is an improvement because she used to gobble up her food in less than one minute. I appreciate that the mat keeps her engaged with limited prep time on my part.The mat is easy to wash and dries quickly. So far, there has been no tear or wear. The non-slip bottom keeps the mat on the floor and food has not been flung around the kitchen (yet). I would recommened this snuffle mat to dog owners.

I have a 53 lb German shepherd mix and this mat works well for her, mainly because it is so deep. She really has to sniff out the kibble and it keeps her busy. I highly recommend supervising your pet while they are using the mat, however if you do walk away make sure you check in on them frequently. My girl was was trying to extract some of the food and she began biting and pulling at the felt pieces; I'm sure she would have torn them out if I wasn't there. The second time she used it, she flipped it over and was trying to chew through the bottom to get to the food. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, as I know some purchasers may want to be able to leave their pets alone while using the mat.Considering the price, I am perfectly satisfied with this mat and as stated before I appreciate the deep pockets to hide the food. It encourages my girl to really sniff it out and forrage. I also like that I can open it up wider to make it easier for her or cinch it up more like a bowl to prolong the activity.I haven't put it in the washer yet but the felt is pretty stiff and hasnt gotten sticky or "yucky" as quickly as some of her other snuffle toys, so I've just done some spot cleaning so far.

My dog loved this and it worked great for about 3 weeks. Then he started nibbling on it, next thing you know he had it in pieces. He started ripping off the blue strips. Then the base. It was trashed.I bought it in March, the photo is April. Just doesn't last when your dog is a chewer.

This is a great product! We have an elderly miniature schnauzer and a young border collie/ Malinois mix, both rescues, who really enjoy their snuffle mats. We use them every few nights with their regular kibble and a sprinkling of grated parmesan cheese. I am ordering another one for our granddog who is an adult Malinois. What a great idea!
