While These Do Have 3 Rings they Don't Work for Headphones with Cables that Have Mics
Like most other reviewers I got these to adapt a wired pair of Bose headphones to my landline phones because the cheap headsets I've been using for years with my phones are so cheap that I have to keep replacing them. Which makes them not so cheap in the long run!Why is it so hard to find an adapter that works with decent headphones (Bose, JBL, etc...) and landline wireless phones?Theoretically, if your headphones are equipped with a microphone, then adapters with three rings should work...apparently the 3rd ring indicates MIC capabilities. Finding 2.5 mm male to 3 mm female jacks with 3 rings is difficult enough! But when the 3rd ring identification turns out the not be true it’s extremely frustrating!!!Does anyone know of one that actually works? If so...please write a review here and share it with us all :-)

Got What I Ordered
I got what I ordered ... in a hurry. I received the Josi Minea 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female Audio Adapter Converter in 2 days. That was great. Unfortunately, the sound quality is not good. There is static and a consistent clicking. I was looking to adapt my 3.5mm earphones to my 2.5mm Panasonic cordless phone KX-TGA470, but I learned that the person on the other end cannot hear me. There is no mic capability with this adapter. I learned my lesson. I normally do read the reviews, but was in too much of a hurry and didn't do so this time. I'll be returning this adapter. Now on the search for a good, quality one with mic capabilities.
