SO happy to find this! We needed an easy to pour dispenser for maple syrup, as the gallon jug we buy it in is just not feasible. We had one similar to this, but the top was plastic. It deteriorated and the silver flaked off until it was unusable. Enter this fabulous item! The top is metal - real metal! It's solid, it works like a charm, and it washes beautifully. The dispenser does have some weight to it due to that, but it' s not unwieldy nor too heavy. It's perfection!

Ordered this for us as on the weekends the wife always makes something like pancakes, waffles or french toast since we have the extra morning time.Pros: The item is made from a heavier weight glass and very sturdy. The top comes with a gasket to prevent leaking and helps to secure the lid tightly. It is easy to use, and we haven't experienced any of the dropping or leaking. It's easy to clean, and the larger opening makes this easy to refill.Cons: None for this item.Overall, we highly recommend.

I was looking for something to keep honey in so it would be handy to leave out on my table. This is the perfect thing for that! I've used the top for over a year, now. I accidentally broke the glass bottom and bought another one. I thought about using the new top. But decided why should I? When I refill it, I simply run hot water over the top and it still looks brand new and works perfectly. So I put the new top in a kitchen drawer and kept using the "old one". If something like this is what you're looking for, you will not be disappointed in buying this syrup/honey pitcher!

I gave this 4 stars because they do leak if you are not careful. If you only open the dispenser only slightly there is usually not a problem. I will be ordering them again. I do recommend.

I buy can syrup in the standard 12 Oz. Cans (Steens)….So this dispenser is perfect for that. Everything is commercial grade…I haven’t had any drip issues. I keep it in the refrigerator, this will cause the syrup to dispense a little slower and thicker….very happy with this purchase, no more sticky mess.

Just what we needed, nothing fancy or expensive. It just works.

These are elegant, sturdy looking jars. Be careful when ordering. It comes in 2 sizes. My 1st review took pts off for size. When I realized I ordered a "tiny" one, I re-ordered in larger size. Percect. I have a larger one for syrup which we use more often. I used the smaller size for honey. They are both lovely.

Bad is that it takes long to be delivered. I use it for dispersing honey.
