Dog pen
Perfect for our JRT. Means he can’t chew my sofa anymore when I am out! Plenty of space for him to run around in whilst keeping him secure and away from furniture. It is bulky though and takes up a lot of space.

Great bed area when a crate ia too small!
We bought this pen when our 9 month old rottweiler decided she was too long for her crate. She started to not sleep so well and wanted to stretch out. She is still not ready to sleep freely and having a pen keeps her safe.Really easy to put together, the panels are light enough to move easily but sturdy when linked together. I was concerned she may be silly and jump up and push the panels (definitely worth getting the tallest ones) but she doesn't and knows its her bed area. The pen could easily be fixed to a wall to give more security. We have taken the pen when staying at familys house and erected it as easily as you would a dog crate. We use ours in a carpeted room so have a cut off of linoleum underneath for hygiene.Would buy again, would love to be able to buy individual panels to buy 1 or 2 more to extend to give her more space with the choice of sleeping on her bed or jist on the linoleum.

Utterly Brilliant!
This playpen is fantastic; I don't know how I would have managed my new puppy without it. It is really well-made and heavy-duty. It's not that my puppy is so strong (she's only a shih-poo!) but that the pen does not slither around the floor like reviewers of some cheaper pens have complained. It was very easy to put together... just slot the rods into the circles on the sides of the panels. The rods have rubber feet to prevent them damaging the floor. The door fits snugly, with two simple bolts to slide across. I have it as a rectangle as that fits the room best, but it could be a hexagon if that works better. I really can't fault it! I have put a supermarket plastic tablecloth underneath and my puppy has her den and toys in her pen, and there is room for a puppy pad too.

Bigger than I though
This is huge. The 6 panels are around chest height on me. Big enough for a German Shephard … we have a cocker spaniels so this is like the gates of King Kong … you know what I mean. There are 2 drawbacks …. 1 the gate to enter the pen has a high step and our puppy didn’t like that. However it was fixed by inverting and then flipping that panel. The other thing I wasn’t a fan about is that the rod holding slots at the end of each panel are offset …. So it means once the pen is set up you can’t simply collapse it …. You have to remove all the pinning rods first … so it’s time consuming to set up and put away this pen. Other than that it’s pretty good and robust.
