WOW! Does This Stuff Work!!
I have to say first that I have sinus issues and lots of draining; however, since last September I have been telling my doctor that my sinuses are worse. He just said they are not infected, so nothing he could do......but the drainage was worse and my throat felt like something has been stuck in the back of my throat for months now. Nothing I did affected this one bit; nothing would touch it. I am pre-diabetic so I cannot take nose drops like 'Flonase' because it raises my blood sugar, so I am stuck with antihistemine's, or Saline sprays. I have used both now since December, but no relief from the clump in back of my throat. I became desperate, this was so darn uncomfortable and my throat was sore from coughing, trying to get this clump to break up. In Feb, I did end up with inflamed sinuses and was given some nose drops that began to break things up, but could only use that for maximum of 2 wks; at which time the clump was coming back again full force. Now, I am desperate and start searching for something I can use to break up this crap in my throat and I found this Xlear spray; the reviews sounded good as many reviewers had an issue close to mine, so I tried it. All I can say is 'Wow'; this stuff does work! It took me one time and I could feel things loosening up; by second day I had a lot of stuff draining in my throat and I have to warn people here ------ because I had apparently so much built up there, and because I followed the bottle's instructions (2 squeezes per nostril in each side); I believe it broke the blockage up too quickly because by 3rd day, the junk draining was so thick and draining so fast, I almost choked on it...literally choked. It shut my throat off with this crap and I couldn't breath for a bit; scared me to death. SO, I would recommend if you have a lot of stuff in there....use one spray on each side (maybe once a day or twice) and let this stuff work, but....slowly, so you don't choke. Mucus from the sinuses is extremely thick mucus and when it breaks up it breaks up in chunks (not good for your throat), but it sure felt wonderful to have that darn stuff out of my throat and be able to breath and swallow normally again. For this I am every so greatful and I highly recommend this nasal spray.

This stuff is fabulous
Very hydrating, xylitol kills off bacteria & it has no preservatives. Helped me keep sinus infections away & gentle enough to use all the time. Iโm a long time customer.

Best Nasal Spray
This works great, but tastes awful as it drains down your throat! I usually get Bronchitis once or twice a year in the fall and February. This year as soon as I had any congestion I used this and was not sick!

Comparison with Simply Saline Mist which also works - actual user, attorney/investment banker
I moved into a new house over a year ago and suffered months of long and sleepless nights due to congested, stuff up noses that made it impossible to breath through my nose and made it hard for me to go to sleep because of how prominent the blockage felt (A doctor friend of mine guessed that I have a deviated septum as well as Chronic congestion/sinusitis). I tried manual solutions (breathe right strips); electric mechanical solutions (humidifer and air purifier) and chemical solutions (pills)--purchasing many of these on Amazon. Though I felt they alleviated the situation some, it was not sufficient to reduce the discomfort and free up nose breathing so I could get to sleep easy. One night I literally went through almost two boxes of tissues, blowing my nose constantly only to go to bed, fill stuffed and uncomfortable again, and have to get up and blow my nose again, time after time. The next day I searched for a better on the spot solution than the nasal spray I had been using and came across this spray and Simply Saline mist spray. I purchased the 3 pack Xlear on Amazon, while grabbing the Simply Saline from the local store of a national drug chain. Here's my pros vs. cons for Xlear Pros: 1. WORKS: Xlear as well as Simply Saline mist immediately ceased my congestion and opening up my nose passage ways so I could breath through them and not have to deal with the discomfort of blockage. 2. PRICE: With the 3 pack, the unit cost is under $4, even under $3.50 (not including shipping). While Simply Saline, both on Amazon and at the drug store cost over $5.50 (not including shipping or sales tax). 3. SMALL SIZE: The Simply Saline can is almost twice the height and more than double the thickness of the Xclear, which is smaller than a mobile phone. This makes the Xclear much easier to throw in a compartment in the car or put in one's pocket or pack or bag if going out. Simply Saline is a good sized tube that probably requires deep pockets to not risk falling out or creating a very clear, unattractive bulge in your clothing. Cons: 1. OVERDOSE: As a first time user, it was easy to "overdose" with both Xlear and Simply Saline mist as when my nose is blocked, I can't initially feel the mist/spray in my nose (and thus, would keep squeezing or spraying more than I should). However, I felt no effects repeated spraying of Simply Saline. But from the Xclear I did, my one nostril felt really dry (that it needed moisture) and irritated. It went away in 15 minutes and I could breathe through the passage but the irritation was quite noticeable. For me, what works for both the Simply Saline and Xclear is to press down or squeeze and count to nor more than "a thousand two" (starting with a thousand one) and then pull out, releasing my squeeze or pressing down as I pull out. CONCLUSION Because of the cons, I give Xclear a 4 and Simply Saline a 5 out of 5. But if price is more of a concern, then I would boost Xclear to dead even with Simply Saline, just make your preference of features you want. I like the soothing feeling of Saline's spray/mist once you feel it. The Xclear has no feeling; it just works--suddenly your nose is cleared up and you can breathe through them again. If portability is the main factor, than Xclear would be the winner. I keep the Simply Saline in the house and the Xclear in my car. I will be putting up an article of the different products I tried in fighting my sinus/nasal congestion, blockage.

Amazing...Works Great!
I have to say that the Xlear Nasal Spray is Amazing; I suffer from awful allergies...the type of allergy attacks that start with the horrible itching and burning in your eyes. All I have to do is spray this in my nose and the itching and burning stop right away, I don't have to keep popping Benadryl with this stuff anymore. It's great. Any nasal sprays always drain in the back of your throat and usually have a foul taste...Xlear actually has a sweet taste. My husband started snoring after we moved to Arizona from all of the dry heat; he uses this stuff and now the snoring stopped. I also had a few mosquito bites that burned and itched really bad from attending an outdoor party a few days ago, I kept putting Benadryl cream on them and they were so inflamed and painful..Nothing stopped the pain and discomfort. My husband suggested putting a few drops of the Xlear Nasal Spray on them to see if it helped, since it helps allergies. It was an "Immediate" relief, even the next morning the swelling had gone done quite a lot. I only had to use the spray on them one more time and no more pain or swelling. These type of mosquito bites last a week or longer and this stuff healed them in 2 days. All I can say is that I will keep it stocked in our home all the time. You won't be sorry you tried it!

Excellent Sinus Relief
I've been using this product for several years. The spray works well when my sinus' begin to feel pressure and pain from infection (I consider it an infection when I have increased pain and a discolored, dry discharge in my nose) Saline sprays do not seem to work for me when my nose is dry and feeling infected because they dry my nose out further and increase the pain. Years ago my medical doctor would prescribe antibiotics for the same sinus problem. Then, it would take about four days to begin feeling better. Now doctors normally do not prescribe me antibiotics for sinus infection (they say it goes away on its own.) So, when I suspect a sinus infection I use this product for a few days, a couple times per day, and the problem clears up. How can it work so well? I am not a scientist, nor a doctor, but as I understand the technology, the secret is in the xylitol sugar. This sugar is sprayed into the nasal cavities where infection would reside. The bacteria irritating and infecting the area is then attracted to the xylitol sugar. But the sugar cannot be digested by the single celled organisms. The organisms are attracted to the sugar and feast on it, but they are unable to digest the xylitol nor eliminate it. So to reword how I think it would work, the xylitol is taken up by the bacteria, the bacteria fill up, the bacteria cannot eliminate nor use the sugar, and they basically die from starvation. If this is true, then that would explain how I can use the product for only a few days and the pain and pressure goes away. This product works fast and I recommend trying it to see if it works for you too.

Very nice, soothing nasal spray
When I had a protracted sinus infection two months ago, my doctor recommended XClear. (this sounds like a TV ad but it's not!) She said it has antiviral/antibacterial properties in the following sense: the Xylitol prevents the bugs from adhering to the surface of the mucous membranes. So there is a scientific basis to the claim. (Apparently Xylitol is being discovered to have uses and potential applications for a number of things.) In any case, even though I ended up needing a round of antibiotics, I found this very soothing. And it helped me through the aftermath when I was still struggling with a postnasal drip for a couple of weeks. It works at least as well as the Neti pot and is much simpler and more convenient to use. I plan to take it on planes when I travel to do double duty of moisturizing and reducing the likelihood of picking up a virus. The saline-water spray I've used on planes in the past just ends up being drying itself within a few minutes. One caveat: I bought the first one in the pump form, but the pump leaked in my liquids bag on the plane. I don't know if it was just the one I got, or if that's an issue with their pump. At home it wouldn't be an issue, but to be sure I got this version the subsequent time. It doesn't have as much force as the pump. In fact, it almost drips in by itself when you tilt your head back. The smallest squeeze suffices. A good sniff on each side works very well for me.

Must be made of unicorn tears
This is hands down the absolute best nasal spray on the market. I like to think of myself as a very unlucky expert in sinuses and all sinus related issues. I have chronic sinusitis due to being allergic to everything on the planet and have had 5 sinus surgeries to help. It's a non-stop issue and I've tried everything my doctors told me to do, but I still have constant problems. After my last surgery I've had post nasal drip like never before and in addition to a morning sinus rinse I was using a saline spray, but the saline spray didn't seem to do much. Enter Xlear. Wow, a couple sprays in each nostril a couple times a day and it keeps me clear and breathing easy. And a surprising bonus is that it's sweet, which is fantastic because I've used sprays that tasted like they were filled from a tap at a rendering plant. Yes, this is pricey if you compare it to plain saline sprays, but let me help you with that. Don't compare them, they're not even in the same zip code. Xlear is superior to everything I've ever tried. Do yourself a favor and buy this and use it in conjunction with a daily sinus rinse and you'll breath free and easy.

Efectivo

XLEAR XYLITOL is a product worth recommendation.
The results of this product i.e XLEAR XYLITOL are very positive and pleasant. I like it's effective congestion clearing capacity, without any steroids used in it. Of course the manufacturer says so ... and I hope this information is correct. The Nasal Spray is soothing also. Only there is one problem that the spray doesn't work properly. And I think price is very high. Otherwise this product is very useful. I am happy with it.

Works better than I expected as part of my sinus cleansing routine
I tend to have sinus issues when I have had a cold or failed to recognise the early symptoms and the nget fully blocked. The facial pain can be a problem but dealing with the thick mucous, sometimes green and infected can be another. I now regularly use a nasal irrigator combined with Apple Cyder Vinegar and Povidone Iodine. That is doing well and cleared up the green mucous, the Amox from the doctor did nothing. I'm still stuffy and whilst things are not perfect they are much better. Then I thought of trying this spray, having put aside the steroid based one from the doctor (too many issues). Up to now this spray has been very good for me. I irrigate with the solution noted above and then spray each nostril 3 times as instructed with this spray. I have only just started doing this for the last few days and yet already I have found more clear mucous being broken down and able to be released. Also it is not as thick or troublesome at the back of my throat. My nose also seems less stuffy. I can understand that no one solution will fit all and these drops are for me no one solution. But they are now part of my toolkit in dealing with sinus issues as they are working well for me. Good luck sinus sufferers and hopefully you will get relief soon :)

Love the squeeze bottle.
Xclear is great for my sinuses but hated the pump spray. Found it too harsh (impossible to get a light mist), hard to control, clogs easily, awkward to keep in a pocket, constantly losing the cap. So glad this is available in old-school squeeze bottle format. Good size to keep in your pocket. Screw cap stays on. Gentle mist spray. Easy to control. Pump spray still gets occasional use but it stays on the counter while the squeeze bottle goes with me everywhere.

Amazing!!!
Not what I expected and not very pleasant to use was my review after buying this for hayfever. Now I am on antibiotics for infected sinuses following a severe head cold this spray is a magic. After weeks of suffocating I can breathe. Wasted my money on the prescribed nasal spray which left me with a banging headache and a nose bleed. Saw this on my dressing table so sniffed a few sniffs and hey presto. Nose clear, headache and ear ache both gone. I have two unused packs so happy, really happy.Did not work formy hayfever but is clearly medicinal for a serious prolonged infection. Looking forward to a proper nights sleep tonight.
