AYR Saline Nasal Gel, 0.5 Fl Oz

This works! Excellent, excellent relief for dry nostrils flights, allergy season and dry indoor heat. Effective and good value for the money.

Very effective at preventing nasal dryness just inside the nostrils. I use supplemental oxygen 24/7. This burns, and can eventually wear away sensitive nasal tissue. Ayr Nasal Gel is the best remedy I've found for this. Applying just a small amount to the inside of the nostril openings as needed (using the tip of your pinky finger or a cotton swab) effectively prevents the burn and erosion. It's a wonderful product that has no offensive odor.

So, I have ordered the 'Ayr' saline gel spray (and love it); then decided to order this 'Ayr' saline nasal gel (with soothing aloe). I like that this tube came in a sealed box, and the tube is totally sealed upon receiving. To open, you use the cap to puncture through the foil protective film. This is a decent sized tube (0.5 ounce), and a little bit goes a long way. This gel is thick, but absorbs well into the skin; there's no greasy feeling, and no stickiness either. I use a q-tip to help directly apply the gel into my nose; I feel relief from dryness within minutes. I like that I can not only use this for my nostrils, but also use for dry/sore areas around my nose (such as what may come from frequent tissue use). This gel has been truly helpful for my needs. I have allergies, as well as frequent sinus issues; this leaves my nose feeling so sore and dry (at times). This gel works wonders for me, and could be helpful for other purposes too (like CPAP or oxygen users). I am very satisfied with this product, and happy with how better my nose feels. Since this gel is super thick, and goes a long way; I do think this is a good value for the price point (currently listed at around $3.62). It's also nice that this product is FSA approved, which may be of importance to some. I definitely can recommend this product, and would order again.

This stuff is incredible. The cold weather caused my nose to chap and crack. I tried face lotions, Vaseline, even lip balm. They would help momentarily but nothing improved it. I looked to see if there was a product for my exact problem, found this among other more expensive options and said $4? Why not? This is a life saver. It works so well. Softened my nose, no more cracks and bleeding, no more pain at the slightest touch. Easy to carry in my purse and you don't even need to use it a lot. I used it maybe 3 times the first day, 2 the next and one from thereon out. It works fast, is super convenient, and a little bit is all you need. I mostly applied it to the outside of my nose and a little inside the tips of my nostrils and couldn't be happier with the results. It might have stung a little at first but the second application had no issues because the product works that well.

I have a bunch of sinus issues and sometimes my nasal passages get really dry. My ENT had recommended doing saline rinses and also saline sprays but sometimes that actually can irritate me more. Then she suggested using the gel because it would moisturize my nasal passages. I tried it and I felt nearly instant relief and I use it nearly every night, particularly in the winter. You only need to use a tiny bit per nostril and it feels more hydrated. It's a tiny tube, but mine has lasted for months. My husband also uses this and has his own tube because he can't stand using sprays and it has helped him as well. The price is great as well. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that it has a slight smell.

This gel completely solved my issue with dry, painful nasal scabs. Kept my nasal passages moisturized throughout the night.

This has helped a lot with the irritation in my nose caused by chemotherapy. It stays put and it smells nice. Much better than plain saline.

A few years ago I used this wonderful product regularly but couldn’t find it anywhere locally after I ran out. Finally discovered it again on Amazon! While I love my Neti-Pot, this gel is a lifesaver during dry winters and/or if medications cause dry eye, dry mouth, dry skin ….. you get the drift. Several of my meds can cause dryness but when my doctor added another RX, I started waking up in the middle of the night and/or in the morning with fully crusted yuck in my nostrils. At times, when the dryness is too much, the Neti-Pot is not effective enough, and forcing the stuff out only leads to a bloody nose and headaches. This Saline Nasal Gel is worth every penny spent. Once spread into the nostrils, the saline loosens the mucus, and after a few minutes I’m able to blow everything out! Yay!! I can breathe again! The aloe keeps the inside of my nose moist, protecting me from nosebleed. Neti-Pots, nasal sprays prescribed or OTC, work well, however, liquids don’t stay long enough where they’re needed. I highly recommend this non-addictive gel to any one with allergies, has side effects from meds, or just a lives/works in a very dry environment. While medications do work, they don’t help well with dryness. For a few cents a day, I can protect myself from panic attacks (I have a phobia about not being able to breathe), nosebleed, irritated nasal passages.

Excellent for dry nose

Sometimes a dry nose will swell making it hard to breathe through my nasal passages. This product has halted that. I use it with No More Colds Red Light Therapy and I have no more sinus issues.
