can you wear socks with these boots?

I'm generally true to size at a 7 and I can wear thin wool socks with these (1/4 inch thick). Normal thickness socks (like a bombas ~ 1/2") sometimes feels a little tight for me, but it still works.

Does this have a hidden wedge? It appears like it but this detail isn’t mentioned.

No wedge. Very good foot support but otherwise flat.

Are these suitable for cold & snowy weather?

They are waterproof and fairly warm; I have worn them during late winter/early spring in Chicago. They are short, so not appropriate for deep snowfall, but plenty warm if you pair them with some wool socks.

How do these boots look after they get wet?

I thought the boots repelled water well.
