Adorable, if a bit fragile. The two ceramic parts screw together a little loosely and a 180º turn will completely open it again, so you must be aware and not turn it too far. It would seem a more practical way to manufacture this would be to create a stop at about or just past the 90º point, so the parts would not accidentally far apart. Other than that flaw in the design, the Lotus appearance and the craftsmanship of the piece are nice. I am using them outdoors to burn Citronella cones as a Mosquito repellant. I hang them low in the trees around my patio, and they look beautiful in use, gently drifting down the incense smoke, but they look equally enchanting as just a decorative object in the tree. Will probably order a few more as needed, to create a calming, mosquito-free oasis in my backyard.

I love this it’s pretty large and well crafted. I have not had any issues with it dropping ashes the scent flows through. My incense cones are secure in the lotus. I have on a hook by my front door since my dog sits there and he usually stinks unfortunately. It’s super cute!!!

Falls apart very easy

The chain is cheap, but that was always going to be a problem for how I use them. I have them hanging from walking staves as parts of costuming for renn faires. I had to make a few adjustments so that they didn't come undone as I walk around, but all of that doesn't matter. They get wide-eyed compliments, witha "that's so cool" almost every day I've used them. I have to be careful, since they have ended up dumping lit cones occasionally, but that is just another hurdle of using something in an active state that is meant to be passive and stationary.

This piece is so pretty. I love the lotus flower. You can use regular cones and/or you can use back-flow cones. They both work. I bought an ornament holder to hang it on, it looks beautiful! So worth buying it. Glad I did! Very happy with my purchase.

Decent quality. The design is a little interesting. The two halves screw together, but there is no stopper to it so it is possible to continue screwing and have them come apart again. You would need to remember to only do a quarter turn to lock it into place. The air flow is pretty good and unobstructed. Some people have complained that cones don't fit or ash will fall out the bottom hole, but that's not true. Regular sized cones work fine and don't spill ash as cones have a circular card-stock base that prevents this. For coils, the burner comes with a felt backed metallic heat shield and you would insert first to prevent ash spill. Its much larger than I originally thought it would be, but I think its worth the money.
