Affordable allergen introduction
We turned to this brand because Ready Set Food allergen mix was consistently out of stock and when it was in stock it was unaffordable. Lil Mixins is affordable and relatively convenient. It is nice that you can add a single allergen to baby’s food so if there is a reaction you know what caused it. It doesn’t always combine perfectly with certain foods but it gets the job done and my baby generally accepts all of the seven allergens/flavors.

One of my best purchases as a parent
As a first-time parent, I was quite fearful of introducing allergens to my son. Little Mixin’s made it incredibly easy; I couldn’t be happier with this product! The box has an easy to follow schedule printed inside it (you give one allergen packet per day) making it absolutely foolproof. I simply mix one packet into my son’s morning yogurt and he gobbles it up! I will say, I was a bit late to the game - we started this at 10 months (4-6 months old is recommended) but better late than never! We are 5 days in and thankfully, no reactions (we have soy and sesame coming up!), but knowing how his little body reacts to these allergens is absolutely empowering and provides peace of mind. I truly cannot recommend this product enough — I’m putting it on autoship since continual exposure is key! Thank you Little Mixin’s!

Easy to Use
This product is a simple way to introduce allergens to your baby. The 4 clearly labeled packets help to ensure your baby gets an adequate amount of each. I used this for both my babies!

Easiest way to introduce allergen foods to babies !
We used the Lil Mixins Early Allergen Introduction Starter Kit to help introduce common allergens in a simple, stress-free way. The packets are easy to mix into oatmeal or yogurt, and I love that it takes the guesswork out of portion sizes. It gave me peace of mind during the early solids stage and made consistent exposure super convenient. Definitely a helpful tool for parents starting their allergen journey!

Allergies recommended
There’s a good portion of the product in each packet size. The texture does not dissolve easily in the solids or milk so look at that before serving..

Doesnt dissolve
Does not mix well into formula. Clogs our medium flow (6mo+) nipple

Hard to mix in milk. Great to mix in oatmeal
Great way to introduce allergens! If you decide to mix it with milk and bottle feed it to baby….use a very large nipple size. I used a Dr Brown level 2 nipple and it was still clogging the nipple so that no milk was coming out (I mixed the smallest amount of the power with like 4oz milk). It just doesn’t dissolve the greatest. I eventually gave up and mixed it with some baby oatmeal. It mixed way better that way.
