Greatly Exceeded My Expectations !
I had wanted a down bag for a while and was hoping to find one that was warm, light, comfortable, well made and an exceptional value. My primary use is for canoe camping with portages in northern Minnesota. This down sleeping bag greatly exceeded my expectations !!! It is very accurately described in the listing. The seams are all clean, straight and tight with no loose threads. The bag and its’ features are well designed and executed. I tend to have cold feet and found the foot box to have a bit of extra down and is particularly warm! If I could ask for something more it would only be for a few loops of cord sewed to it so I could attach a liner and secure a sleeping pad (I always add something critical to my 5* reviews to give them credibility.) I would recommend this bag to almost anyone, provided that they are not over 6’-4” tall or more than 280 lbs. (I’m 6’, 180 lbs. and 68 years old.)

Great value for $, super warm, CON: smell
Absolutely amazing value for your buck. It kept me warm (sometimes sweating) in the near freezing temperatures in Iceland, Vermont, New Hampshire and upstate NY. Haven’t tested it in the below freezing temps yet, but so far it’s been great. It packs easily and compresses nicely, but wouldn’t use it for through hiking. However for a sites to which you don’t have to walk for hours to get to, i would absolutely recommend it. I’m a female in my 30’s. My setup wasn’t overly sophisticated and I do believe that this sleeping bag was the main contributor to why I stayed warm through the nights (sleeping pad rated for extreme colds, bough on Amazon; tent meant for warm months camping). I haven’t even used my sleeping bag liner on most night. It appears to be very well made. The only con is the smell- it does have a weird chemical smell about it. Not super overpowering but it’s noticeable (especially after all night in a not so well-ventilated space). I wish I had means of leaving it in the sun for a few hours to get rid of the smell.

Several Key Features To Keep You Warmer
I do like this sleeping bag. I haven't tried it yet on a cold night but I'm thinking I'll need an inner sack for extra warmth. This bag has several key features up near the head and shoulders area to help you stay warm and keep the wind out. A lightweight padded drawstring around the top of the shoulders and another drawstring for the head. You can use the feature or not. You can put your pillow inside a little hood which then keeps your pillow from falling out. Another nice feature is the double zipper,... you can have your bag all zipped up but unzip from the bottom which allows a bit of venting. Great amount of features for the price.

Very lofty and good for the price point
Love this sleeping back for the price. Very roomy for my 5’9” 160lbs. Very lofty and packs down small. Im an avid backpacker and needs something warm and light but couldnt afford the expensive brands. This is a great option!

Best bang for the buck down sleeping bag you can buy
Tested in 17F weather wearing what you see in my video, which are meridian wool socks, thermal underwear, and sweats. The shoulder air dam makes a big difference in keeping heat in. The shell is water resistant to resist condensation. The zipper is very nice, especially the zipper pull with Y-shaped head, but remove the poorly-placed label so it doesn't get hung up on it. The zipper also has a nice air dam. It packs down nicely, which is why I wanted to go with a true down (even if it is duck and not goose) sleeping bag. Make sure you store your sleeping bags UNCOMPRESSED until it's time to go camping and REMOVING it from the stuff sack is the FIRST thing you should do once you arrive at camp to give the fill time to loft.

Really like this bag. I like to go camping in the winter and this kept me pretty warm. I did add a liner but would have been ok with out it. It is really light and compact for hiking. It was mid winter when used and about -18C.

I really like this sleeping bag. It was comfortable and warm. I used it for 4 nights in May to sleep under the stars. It wasn’t super cold out but it wasn’t warm either.

I recently tested my sleeping bag on a camping trip in Kananaskis, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Despite the significant temperature drops at night, the bag kept me comfortably warm without causing any overheating. The insulation worked exceptionally well, ensuring I stayed cozy throughout the night. The material struck a great balance between durability and comfort, not feeling stiff or restrictive at all. Plus, it packed down compactly, making it a breeze to carry and saving valuable space in my gear, always a benefit when travelling light. Overall, the sleeping bag performed impressively in the unpredictable weather of Kananaskis. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, warm, and comfortable option for cooler nights outdoors.

This kept me warm and dry in the Canadian Rockies in late autumn, in a freezing rain storm. For the price this is literally UNMATCHED.
