I have a family member who cleans and repairs old stuffed toys and then gives them to non-profit/charity organizations that gives them out to children. This was a gift that she would have never guessed that she would receive, but it was the perfect gift for her. Every so often she would try to change out a button on a toy with something else that would fit. Now, the possibilities are endless and it has allowed her more creativity in bringing back these toys to playable status.As she is older, she does not want to have more "nicknacks" in her home and finding a gift that was consumable & one that she could appreciate was a challenge, but this one fit the bill for her.There are several different types of buttons from four holed to loop. They have a variety of colors and sizes, but enough that are the same to complete a project. As this was a gift, the gift receiver was very excited and happy about the amount and variety of buttons she received, and as such, I am pleased with this product as well.

What I was expecting. Alot of many sizes and kinds, good for stringing.

Just got my order and have been pawing through it, looking for treasure. This is great! There are all sorts of buttons, flats and shanks, round, square, embossed, enameled, shapes like little cars and trains, numbers, just about everything you could want. Plenty of spares so you could use them for sweaters or something. Some large, some tiny, some metallic. This is just the most fun sorting through them and going oooo, look at that! I immediately put the buttons in a decorative round tin I had sitting around--the only thing buttons belong in, I think. My older sister inherited our mother's button tin, but I got my husband's grandmother's stash. This is something that gets handed down to the next generation. Well worth the money and much, much cheaper than buying cards of buttons at the sewing shop.

I liked all the buttons that came with it only thing is I kinda wish there was more of a variety. Many different ones but also, many of them were the same. Still, not bad though.

There is a good assortment in here but was cheaper quality overall then I was hoping for. Mostly plastic and very few flat buttons.

I was so pleased with the variety of buttons. Different shapes, sizes, and patterns galore! I went ahead and did what I should have done in the first place, and that was to order the 3# bag next! There were plenty of the same buttons to use on a sweater, and enough unique buttons to keep my projects interesting and one of a kind. The shipping was fast, and the packaging secure.
