HFZS550YWS - Flexzilla SwivelGrip Garden Hose

i have about 6 of these in various lengths. I use them for my poor man's sprinkler system (multiple hose bibs, timers, hoses, and sprinklers throughout my yard from May-Oct each year. - replacing my older hoses as they fail. They are incredibly light, extremely flexible, and so far (knock on wood) I have had no issues with wear or leaks or problems with the fittings. They are the only truly unkinkable hoses I have ever used. The mulch-colored ones are perfect for me as I route most of them through mulched beds. And they lie flat to the ground immediately.. They are not cheap but if I get more than 3 years use per hose, they are well worth it to me. Very easy loop up in prep for storage in my man cave - where I keep about a dozen hoses in the winter (for comparison try to wind up a half frozen rubber-vinyl hose when the temperature is pretty low). Definitely the best type of hose I have ever owned.

That swivel grip is nothing to gloss over. Don't know if these guys invented it, but It's a wonderful invention. I can't describe it in a text, but I will say it makes a big difference when I wash my car or water my garden. It eliminates kinks!

this hose is a good one. Let me count the ways: Install: very easy. It comes with a very smart design that you can twist the handle without needing to twist the hose around. It makes it so easy to put onto the spout and attach the sprayer on the other end. Color: I can actually see it. most hoses are black or grass/plant green, so they blend in with black garden liners or with grass and plants. Since this is a lime green it really sticks out and I can see it better. Much better for me cause I get so focused. Weight: excellent medium weight. It's not to light that it feels flimsy, and not to heavy that you feel like you're dragging a body around. It's lighter than a lot of those green heavy plastic ones. Strength: very strong. I accidentally pulled it while it was stuck on something sharp and it didn't cut through it amazingly. It also can handle tugging and pulling around very easily. Feel: Much better grippability than a regular hose. It's a softer texture and material, making it less likely to fall out of your hands. It also doesn't pick up and stick grass clippings all over it like the old hose. It's stays nice and clean looking. Water pressure - this hose is so darn long I thought it didnt' work at first. Turns out going that far took a hot minute. It's just as much pressure as my last hose, but this one is way better. Leakage - none at all. My last hose had issues where it connected to an extension hose, where it hooked up to the spout and at the sprayer end. This one has no leaks at all. I am so happy I didn't have to replace the spout or my fancy sprayer handle and it turned out the last hose before this one was just awful. Good price for this deal for sure!!! I am getting another one for my neighbor one for having taken care of my yard while I was away. The neighbor loved using it when over.

I picked up the hose in Forest Green to handle watering my new yard after moving into my house, and overall, it’s been pretty solid. The build quality feels really good — the hose is thick and sturdy, so I don’t worry about it bursting or getting damaged easily. The color is nice too; the forest green blends in well with the lawn and garden, which I actually like better than bright, flashy hoses. That said, I have noticed it gets kinks here and there, which can be a bit annoying when I’m trying to water evenly. It’s not terrible and nothing too crazy, but it does happen enough that I have to spend a little extra time untangling or straightening it out. It’s not super stiff, so it moves around fairly easily, but those occasional kinks are the main drawback. The length is just right for my yard, and the GHT fittings make it easy to connect to my existing setup without any leaks. I also appreciate that it feels flexible enough to maneuver around plants and garden beds without too much effort. Overall, I’d give this hose a solid 4 out of 5. It’s well built and does the job, but if you want something that’s totally kink-free, this might not be perfect. Still, for the price and quality, it’s been a reliable hose that’s made watering my new garden much easier.

Flexilla is a great garden hose. Working on 5 years now and working great.

Super flexible does not get entangled like other hoses, the price is a bit high, but the product is worth it.

This is a difficult review to write. I have had this hose for about a year and a half and was satisfied with my purchase. However, a few days ago the swivel nozzle blew off when I used the hose. There was no way to reattach it. I contacted the manufacturer regarding a warranty and was pleased and somewhat surprised at their very prompt response. And for that, I give Flexzilla five stars. However, the information that Flexzilla gave me regarding care of the hose was somewhat disturbing. I quote: “Do not leave the hose unattended [Is the hose left under pressure during extended periods of time? Garden Hose example: Left connected to the spigot overnight or longer, even with water off?] Store the hose in a cool, dry place when not in use, and disconnect it from the spigot or compressor to relieve pressure. [Is the hose stored in a cool, dry place after each use?] ….” The questions and advice would suggest that in hot weather you might need to disconnect the hose and move it to a cool place every time you use the hose, which could be daily (or perhaps multiple times per day). Not very convenient with a 100’ hose. Also, even if the water faucet to which the hose is attached is turned off, Flexzilla instructs to disconnect the hose from the spigot when the hose is not in use. Again, not very convenient. Had I been aware that the Flexzilla hose is a pretty delicate flower, I probably would not have purchased it. I have other people watering my plants when I am on vacation and they might inadvertently leave the hose “pressurized”. The possibility that the hose nozzle could disconnect and spew hundreds of gallons of water before being discovered concerns me. As stated, until the swivel nozzle disconnected, I had no complaints about the hose. The manufacturer’s response was exceptional and appreciated. But because of the fragility of the hose, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it.

First of all- this was a fantastic purchase through Amazon. Everything I have read - the Flexzilla Swivel Grip hose is number one ☝️ No more kinks or a tangled hose mess 🤗 This hose is 50 ft long - kink free and very light weight. To go with this amazing hose, I also bought through Amazon the PeoMev garden hose holder and for the 2cnd time, the Restmo metal hose nozzle. Now, just have to wait for better weather to use all these great products and wash my car 🤗👍

My son has used this hose for washing the car, and washing exterior windows. Very well-made hose, and the fact that the brown colour was available, was an appealing feature. Highly recommend this hose, haven't had it too long, but so far so good

The rotating mount bit is great, but I was unable to find matching counterpieces for my tap and Gardena sprayer.
