What is special about that?** A: Well, I can't speak for the ingredients, but I can tell you that after I had CO2 laser on my eye area that is the only thing that calmed the area down. In the winter when my fingers cracked at the tips, it was the only thing that would soften to cracks up enough to heal. My dermatologist told me to use this in place of Bacitryn or medicated ointments. It reminds me of petroleum jelly, although the Aquaphor will eventually soak into your skin and not be greasy. My doctor said it forms a protective layer over skin injuries and it has always worked for me for over seven years. Sometimes, in the winter, my skin gets so dry it actually cracks on the side of my index finger. Aquaphor is the only thing I have found that will allow the cracked skin to heal. Does not have any funny scent.
