Much better than the round stud type grips, fine on snow, great on ice. No issues walking at pace, or when carrying my son to school (because of the ice). Best Ice grips I have used so far of the three used in a northern Scottish winter:The wire wrapped rubber type ice grips were ok for grip, but were not hard wearing/broke easilyThe round stud type grips were difficult to walk on any surface other than snow, but provided better grip on ice than just shoes alone, and I was always worried about the studs popping outThese worked well on all surfaces and so far seem to be sufficiently well built for me to not be concerned about their longevity.

Upon opening I was a little disappointed. I had to cut the rubber around the metal bits. Pictures displayed.They’re flexible.I’ve got size 9 work boots and size 10 snow boots. They fit on both with ease. Photos displayed.The metal prongs seem sharp and I feel they would work great for thick ice (hopefully). Bought these for Finland.

I purchased for a walking holiday in Austria in March, with snow and ice on tracks. Essentially, these grippers worked fine up and downhill, and they stayed in place well, but after a couple of uses the rubber seems to stretch a bit [still fitted though] and having only used three times I wouldn't be too confident they'd last another holiday. My wife purchased steel [teeth and chain type] crampons with a thick rubber over boot holder, they were much better and she was 100% happier, paid a bit more but worth it.

They are great for keeping you safe on ice and snow I have one criticism and that is these ice grips would not be good for somebody with weak ankles because they do require you to be extremely careful when the manoeuvring in these conditions or there is a liability for twisting your ankle If you do not have strong feet ankles and calf muscles I would not recommend these for anyone who is elderly or weak in the legs And also I feel they could do with some sort of shock absorption other than that this is a great item and good value for money

Fantastic grips. Fit easily over walking boots and really do the job. We walked over thick ice and snow on our daily walk with our dog and people were asking us how we managed to not slip! The only down side was my husband takes a size 9 shoe and so his grips were for 9-11 and tended to come off more easily than mine.

Never bought ice/snow covers for shoes so was doubtful they would work. How wrong was could I off been. They were easy to put over my shoes and went out on a very icy day, I did not slip once. I would highly recommend them.

Hi. When they are on they are great, but they only lasted a few days before the rubber snapped. Typically about 3 days after the returns window.

While wearing these I was able to walk my dog on snow covered roads, great grip and slip resistant.
