Surprisingly strong magnet. Holds my fully loaded glock 17 and requires some serious force to pull it away. I know my weapon will not get knocked off or fall off on accident.It comes with an adhesive rubber strip that sticks to the magnet so it doesn’t scratch your weapon, very nice touch.The magnet is the perfect length to fit between the front and rear sights of my glock 17.

Great idea for being able to have a weapon near by. I've installed one under a table, on the wall and in other places around my home.Strong, reliable, and handy as hell!!Won't scratch your weapon and holds my full size Glock .45 with mag quite easily.Update: I would avoid using this kind of mount in my vehicle due to the fact that if you are in a collision or have to stop quickly, the G forces can rip the gun off the magnet and toss it around your vehicle. The best for a vehicle is an actual holster.

I mounted this on the side of my bed's wooden rail and use it to secure my Springfield XD .45 full size on it. The magnet is strong enough to keep it in place but not to strong that i have to struggle trying to get the gun loose. It's a quick draw if i need it to be and placed on the wooden rail that no one knows its even there. I absolutely love this thing and going to get another one to mount under my coffee table, great product if you want to strategically mount your firearms around the house.

Much better quality than I expected...holds my gun very stable and easy to mount with the included hardware. The gun stays put and does not spin like I've heard of other similar products doing. Last thing you need is the gun pointing at you or a loved one. I plan on purchasing several more for placement around my home and vehicles. Love the fact that this product is Made in the USA, something I was looking for. Thanks for a great product and please keep it American Made.

Looks like they sent me used magnet plates…I was willing to get over it sol long as it did the job. Mounting was easy but the magnet is not strong enough to hold either of my pistols in place (M&P fullsise and Shield)….now I have hold in my panel and essentially a mag holder….disappointing to say the least.

I was very skeptical when I purchased this gun magnet. I have two handguns I choose from to keep in my truck with me, a 9mm smith and wesson and a .45 smith and wesson. Ive had them both on the magnet strip and it holds the 9mm much better then the 45. I will say it does hold the 45 fairly well but when bouncing around on back roads it has fallen off a number of times so I prefer putting my 9mm on the magnet instead. The install was simple and easy and I love that it is made in the US.

I bought this magnet so my gun could be with me secured in my car while I'm out and about. At first I was considering mounting it under my steering wheel column, but decided against it. Paranoid someone would see it and steal it. Instead I found my pistol and the magnet were the perfect size to fit in my center arm rest storage. When the lid is lifted up, my pistol swings up with it held firmly in place and is easily grabbed and ready to go. The magnet blew me away, I was skeptical at first before I tried it. But as soon as it snapped onto my gun I knew it was high quality USA made. I strongly recommended this is you are looking to conceal carry a pistol in your vehicle, it can be mounted virtually anywhere you can fit it. Easy to install as well, all hardware needed was included in the package. Probably going to by more and mount spots in my house for other guns.

It works okay...but magnets aren't strong enough for my Browning 1911 380, much less the 1911 A1 Range Officer
