The most comfortable thumb pick
Of course, my thumb is not your thumb, but the material here can be softened and bent to sit very comfortably on your thumb. The pick itself can be slid in and out for more exposure - I even use the hard version for flat-picking and it is as good as I am (probably better) and I don't drop it. I have this pick in every guitar case and laying around to use for all sessions. Fred Kelley makes good picks.

They work well for my Guitar and Banjo needs
I bought three different kinds of Fred kelley picks. I play banjo and guitar and use different fingerpicks for each. My all metal dunlop banjo fingerpicks can do everything but strum and my plastic guitar d addario and national plastic picks dont strum well (bi directionally) either. These fred kelley picks work perfectly for me to pick and strum either instrument. This Jazz light pick works best for my banjo and the medium tear drop pick for my guitars. After a couple years of searching I found my answer. They looked cheap so I held of getting them and made the mistake of trying the expensive picks first...Only 4 stars because I have to super glue the joint to hold it in place or it slips up and down while playing.

Great pick
Like other reviewers, this pick will certainly reduce the tendency to drop picks. I purchased both the medium(large) and the light(large) picks. I really like the light version as it seems to have a brighter response from the strings. Switching from flat pick to a thumb pick took a little time to get used to but I have become a bit more confident in my ability to find the right note with using only my thumb instead of my entire hand. I do believe these picks have improved my playing and would recommend these to anybody.

Helpful in a non conventional way...
This is really a great pick for people who like to play with their thumbs. This is meant for a finger picking style, but I'm just starting playing, and I'm not good at strumming, so I use this on my thumb for strumming- I know it's not how it's supposed to be used, but it works GREAT for me and my purpose.

Hard to get it to sit correctly to provide a good angle of attack
They do not stay on my thumb very well. Hard to get it to sit correctly to provide a good angle of attack.

Easier to Use
I am still learning the guitar and I like this pick. I don't know, just easier for me. I put it on the thumb and it is easier for me than other picks.

Best Thumb Picks!
I've mostly always been a flat picker because typical thumb picks were so hard and inflexible that playing rythmn was not good. But these have changed by tune. Whether picking or strumming, these work great. And it didn't take long to get used to them.

Good idea, bad implementation
It is too small to fit on my normal sized thumb. The pick is not fixed, it rotates. Very cheaply made, very poorly executed design
