Now Open Your Eyes (Stay With Me)

This whole series was amazing. If I could re-read it again for the first time I would. The epilogue was perfect. I don’t know that any other series will ever compare.

• 𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝑹𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘 •What an ending to this series. If you thought this couldn't get any crazier... Well, I have a surprise for you. It 100% did. I'm glad I finally got the satisfying ending I was looking for, but to get there. Oh my I went through it all. There were some nice and thoughtful moments as always. Lots of character growth, and so much suspense. The author was not afraid to put these characters through it. The author also did things that still surprised me. Definitely recommend reading this series if you love an emotional rollercoaster.

You’re immediately drawn right back in with characters and story captivates you right from the first page making it hard to put the book down.What an absolutely wild ride. I’m certain that I held my breath through mostly the whole entirety of the book. I had to set it down, regroup, text my best friend to have her give me a pep talk to pick it back up to see what happens next. It’s that action packed. Feeling emotions you didn’t even know were possible.This is the ending we needed for Mia and Ollies story. An ending that leaves your heart aching but so full, where you’re left crying huge tears and smiling that big cheesy smile with tears still in your eyes over everything that just happened. These two went through hell and high water to be together and I loved absolutely every single minute of it. It was an absolute beautiful thing to see the both of them navigate and quite literally fight and claw their way through whatever is thrown at them to be with each other. Ollie is so desperate that he faces a demon from his past in hopes of it helping somehow get him back to Mia. Ollie has a love for Mia that is so pure and his intentions even purer. The way he fights for her in this book will make you swoon for him, as if you haven't already before. 😉 Ollie Masters is literal perfection.Nicole honestly is so brave for tackling such heavy hard topics, she does it with ease and its so beautifully and poetically written that it makes you as a reader really feel for these characters and want to live in the book forever.Honestly my review doesn’t even do it justice, just read the books you’ll see what I mean, she’s just that good and the stories they’re even better. 🤍🖤

Mia and Ollie may be free from the clutches of Dolor but the war isn’t over yet. New obstacles are still is on the table with Ollie having to face his past. Once the debt is paid will Ollie and Mia be truly free to live evermore?The previous two books briefly illustrated Ollie’s past painting a six year old boy scarred by his mother and brother’s actions. It molded him into the man he is today. But what Nicole didn’t illustrate was his life before being sent to Dolor. It’s in this final book where Ollie has to outrun the decisions of his past.Nicole has the power to draw emotions from her words. Now Open Your Eyes was about seeking redemption. They are faced with more roadblocks as the past collides with the present.In the beginning, Mia made promises to Stay with Ollie while also learning to stay with herself. When the promise to stay became too much Mia let him go while Ollie continued to protect their love. In this final book Mia has opened her eyes to the love that only Ollie and her can share. Ollie told her once to keep her eyes shut when he left. Now he is telling her to open her eyes and watch him love her.Ollie and Mia climbed out from the sickness created by traumatic childhoods only to be dragged back in by greedy criminals.Oliver’s character inspired people within Dolor and continued to inspire people outside of Dolor. He was a constant stable character that stayed true to his character throughout this series.Mia’s character blossomed from an unemotional girl into a woman who thrived off of touch. Her character transformed from an empty hollow shell into a compassionate woman with an for art.While I still have questions regarding the emotional turmoil these characters carry around with them I am satisfied with how Nicole left certain aspects open to interpretation allowing the reader to fill in the blanks.Now Open Your Eyes was a dark romance with some unhinged characters. Even Ollie and Mia deserved an opportunity to change. They continued to take one step forward only to find themselves taking two steps back.Nicole not only produced two spellbinding books about Ollie and Mia but she followed up each book better than the previous book. Three solid books about Ollie and Mia’s journey. Some writers have a natural talent with writing while others strive to achieve this level of success. When asked by readers if I like trilogies my go to answer is as long as the writing style is dialogue driven. Nicole’s writing style is the reason why I still read trilogies. As long as she’s putting pen to paper I’m hooked regardless if it’s a stand-alone or a series.It’s rare to find characters that can look past indiscretions easily. Ollie and Mia were unique original characters who had unusual morals. They’re viewpoint on love might’ve been skewered, yet it worked for them. The hold they had on each other survived many obstacles.The twists are turns kept coming and were an unexpected treat. All the loose ends came together nicely.These characters had different thoughts on love. Nicole took a chance by not following the standard ideals about love. Nicole jumped the moral line keeping these characters true to their nature with the types of needs that make them unique and still lovable.Favorite quote: “Did you ever think we’re just two women, both not filling expectations? All my life I was expected to remember, to feel, to relate, to understand. Now, I’m expected to have all the answers and know who I am. I’m starting to think we’re never supposed to have it all figured out, and maybe that’s the beauty of it all.”

I know you are supposed to review this trilogy individually, but I decided to wait until I finished them all.... The first book was slow and hard for me to get into until the end. Great start to building the characters though. Second book was my favorite. So sweet, but tons of hurdles. Great mystery and even action. The third was all over the place. I love twists, but this was over the top and even predictable. It was really hard for me to understand some of book with problems still at the school , they leave & then end up with problems with a gang. Really? Such a stretch and even weird!

Ow what the heck this one hurt most.I actively said “I don’t want to read this book anymore” probably 100 times. I was so angry at the author for putting Mia and Ollie through all this. I feel like my heart got crushed and then inflated again like a bike tire.Do I have questions? Yes 100%Was I happy with everything that went down? No. But I think that’s what makes it a good novel. I felt for the characters, and I also hated them. They were complex beings.With all that said, I am satisfied with this ending, with the growth everyone had and where everything goes from here.I’m in pain, but apparently I’m just as bad as Ollie because I’m loving it.

"Ollie loved me enough for the both of us until I'd learned to love myself."Ethan is an interesting character, until the end of the second book I didn't know what to think of him, I knew something didn't feel right. This book was not what I expected it to be. It would still be interesting to read Ethan his book. It was good that Mia wanted to learn how to be by herself and that Ollie helped her with that from a distance while he was respecting her boundaries, that made her and her relationship with Ollie stronger. They are so beautiful and their emotions feel so real. Although I didn't really care about the whole Dex and Links thing, the writing and the details from the storyline were still great. That's why I was debating whether I would give this 4 or 5 stars. I think this book is a good ending of the story and although I wanted more happy moments. The way this book was also made sense if you think about Mia and Ollie. It was never easy for them and the things from their past were still haunting them. I've cried about all the books in the serie at one point. This serie probably will forever *stay with me*The order of my favorite to least favorite from this serie1. Even When I'm Gone2. I am in love with Ollie and Mia. They are GOALS. Ollie definitely made it to my book boyfriends list because man !!! he's a dream. I would marry that guy without second thought 😂 God this whole series is packed with selfless love, action, drama, forgiving, healing, learning and growing with HEA. Pick this one up, you won't regret ot❤️

It hurts so badI feel so empty after I've completed the stay with me series by Nicole FiorinaNicole's writing is so exquisite and she takes you on the wildest ride in ''Now open your eyes''So many things I didn't expect.. so many twist .. so angstyWhat I loved the most was how hard Oliver fought for MiaHe loves so hard that it hurts - he'd do anything for her and her happinessSo beautifully poetic!If you haven't read it yet.. you are clearly missing out on something unique!

This story, the atmosphere, the characters EVERYTHING in this serie is amazing ! Do you a great favor and read it !Ollie and Mia are beautiful souls, you’ll ache with them, you’ll cry for them, you’ll feel their love. They will became a part of you and they will take a piece of your heart and keep it.We are all looking for great stories to read, and this is it ! So don’t lose your time and read it !All the three books are amazingly written !
