I have had one of these in my wallet for 8 years and it still lights up when I need it. I decided to buy more for my friends. Everyone needs an emergency wallet light. They are very easy to operate, just push the lightbulb shape up and the light turns on. Push it back down to turn off. They come in a brown paper wrapper individually wrapped and are a greater little gift option. Everyone worked.

I love these little lights. They are great to gold in your hand. If you only want to see the ground you hold it with the bulb facing down. If you want it brighter just face it toward what you want to see. These are not for a lot of illumination, I would not want to read for long by one, but great for finding keyholes, getting up in a strange place at night and finding your way without waking everyone else, etc. They are lightweight and nearly indestructible. You can replace the battery when you need to. I gave them as gifts to all my students with, "You light up my life" as the tag line. No matter the color, they are great little lights.

Very dim, useless....why 5 stars? Cheap and expected the quality to be trash.Would i recommened? Nah. For the price, i had a lil bit of money to burn.Was it worth it? Nope.Did it fit my wallet? Yes, its thick though, its dim enough to be able to count your money or something.Would i keep it in my wallet? Kinda. Its bright enough to be seen from far away...but theres a high chance that it my fail on you, so set your hope on the low for rescue with this lil thing. Drop it in the water or a lil wet and theres a high chance that its a goner. But thisnt for survival tool anyway...its just a tiny convenience to have if it actually works on you.

I am a Clinical Instructor at a major university in Florida. Normally, I would bring in a huge slow cooker full of chili or a nice soup/stew during the semester for my Masters students in clinical practice with me. Due to COVID, that was not possible. I bought 2 sets of these little lights. They were easier to transport than a vat of chili and I could slip them into the student mail-slots easier. I did not tell them how they worked, so they had to work that out. I think they all liked getting something unexpected at the clinic that was not PPE related. The lights worked as promised and were thin enough to fit in a wallet.

So I bought two packages of these and out of my 20 count I had 7 not work. I sent it to customer service and they resolved it very quickly! They were great!! For the ones that worked, they were a fun gift for my coworkers, they all thought the lights were different and cool. It is nice to keep in your purse or desk drawer as an alternate source BUT they aren't super bright. They'll give you an ambient light but are by no means a flashlight. I would just say buy knowing it isn't for practical reasons, but more for an interesting gift idea.

These are really fun. What a novel idea. The light output is similar to a night light. A few will be very unique stocking stuffers. And a few, I already gave to some friends who thought they are very clever and are enjoying. Would definitely buy again.

I did not set expectations high. They are not very bright, will definitely light up a small area so you can see to navigate. The purpose I have for them is to back light some things at night for photography. not sure this'll do what i'm hoping, but it's both bright and dim enough for it, I think, so worth the price for the experiment.

I bought several packs of these about a year ago with the intention of giving them away in little baskets as a fun gift. Well, I forgot where I put them. A year later I found them and low and behold our power went out a few days later due to a storm. No, the can’t power a room. But they were perfect. I put them around the house in common areas so we could simply see and they did the trick until the power came back on. I didn’t have to worry about candles and them catching fire or anything. They are super safe. And when they eventually die, you just put an new battery in or toss them. Very happy with my purchase
