Good BBQ especially for its price
The media could not be loaded. A nice build BBQ the instructions are easy to follow to build it. So I can't understand the people that say it's hard to build. Seems to be of a nice strong construction especially for its price.

Easy build, cracking bit of kit
Took me around 3hrs on my own from un packaging to fully built, instructions very very clear. All the bits fit perfectly.Excellent bbq with 4 different cooking options. Smart looking and sturdy. Can’t fault it as yet

How Many Pieces?
OK so the lids are hinged and the gas burner controls assembled but that's as far as it goes put aside a reasonable time to assembly it. The instructions are good and all the nuts and bolts packaged and identified well. Expect a trip to the skip to dispose of the packaging as it sure uses a lot of polystyrene and cardboard.Initial impression wasn't brilliant as it looks like lightly painted mild steel, however, it's not going rusted yet after a couple of uses. The charcoal trays for the smoker and BBQ do rust quickly though as you find that when it rains they get wet and fill with water and have no drainage holes. So down to a couple of design issues:1. You can't remove the warming shelf to clean it as it's screwed in.2. If you open the smoker compartment after rain or when cleaning it the water falls from the lid into the smoker and there are no drain holes so you can't get the water out. I assume at some point this will cause it to go rusty. Actual rain gets in even with the lid is closed.Season the griddles (vegetable oil full heat repeat) before you use them as this stops them going rusted. Personally I would keep them in the house between uses. Don't put them in the dishwasher as this will strip away the seasoning.Mine arrived with a small dent in the lid but I wasn't going to try and repackage it to send it back. I haven't contacted the seller so can't say what their response would be.All in all I'm happy with it and it cooked a great charcoal BBQ using the gas part to keep everything warm. The adjustable firebed is a great idea but the mechanism is slightly difficult to assemble in the first place (get some long nose pliers to put the R clips on with). You need a standard spanner to put the wheels on as adjustable ones are too thick.Combine this with the Weber Charcoal Lighter (use on the sideburner) and you are up and running in less than 30 mins.

Mediocre BBQ with painful assembly, would be OK for £100
Prepare yourself for a lengthy assembly process on arrival. Got to be about 100 separate pieces. Many parts don't fit well, the attention to detail and build quality is poor. The smoker hatch doesn't even close as it hits the bbq leg.The charcoal section has no way to add more charcoal. You have to remove your cooking food, remove a heavy cast iron grill that is red hot, only then can you load additional charcoal. Awkward and dangerous. Having a drawer or door to load charcoal is a very basic requirement.

So far so good
A little bit of faff building this on my own, but die to the grill being so well packed I achieved this without damaging anything. The side burner install instructions felt like they required a NASA degree but eventually it became obvious what was needed...eventually.Gas side - great, works as expected, it's a gas BBQ. Having the side burner is brilliant for a charcoal chimney starter, means no firefighters required, huge win.Charcoal side - very well designed and the height adjustment is brilliant, easy to access and clean and a pleasure to use.Smoker, I'm a novice but have managed to use the smoker, bit of a learning curve but seems to work well when you complete the YouTube training course.Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Difficult to assemble
This item doesn’t just come as a few parts to assemble it is LOTS of parts, you virtually have to build it from scratch. I’m an engineer and it isn’t an easy build. For the money you don’t expect top quality and you don’t get it! I had to adjust several things ( which be a simple slip a tube over) as the next part would not fit. The igniter for the side burner didn’t work so I contacted the supplier telling them. They sent me a wire ( which I told them wasn’t the problem) and guess what, it still doesn’t work!

What a challenge to assemble
The bbq comes as a kit and you have to do a COMPLETE assembly. The picture help pages are of some use but a a bit overwhelming. You need either very nimble fingers and an elkevctric drill with screwdrivers attachment to help. Some screws are in the most inaccessible places and more captive nuts would have been helpful others. The design is good but the metal is thin to save weight and cost I assume, but not very robust when long screws are put through the legs. The square section dents and I think will cause loose legs over time.THINK SERIOUSLY BEFORE YOU BUY! Assembly is not a trivial task. Don't rely on CosmoGrill replying to your emails., They didn't reply to mine even though they promise a ' within 1 business day' reply.
