These earrings stand away from the ear too much. The prongs are very high. They catch my hair all the time. The backing is a screw on ball that only screws onto the very end of a very long post. I replaced these with silicone backs. The stone is dyed howlite as stated, but mine had white streaks in them. I bought the 6mm and they totally obscure my smaller second hole studs.

I can't post a photo because I'm waiting for my replacement pair to arrive. I got the original pair very fast and thought they were beautiful but maybe better if the setting didn't look so big, but that may have just been my opinion. However, these are very heavy, well made earrings that came with both plastic and metal ball screw-on backs. The back to one was stripped and wouldn't stay on the earring, which is the only reason they aren't getting a 5* rating. The senders very quickly agreed to replace them with another pair upon return of the bad one. I was very happy about that as well.

These turquoise stud earrings came nicely packaged. Gift box, earrings wrapped separately, rubber slip on backs also wrapped separately. They are just what I wanted. Would make a very nice gift for someone. I recommend!

You need a very fat ear, or use the plastic backer that comes with it. Which is gross and collect bacteria. Otherwise they always look like a limp flower about to fall out.

I’m always a little iffy when buying jewelry online, especially earrings. I have super sensitive skin and my piercings always have some type of problem if them metal isn’t right. I’ve had this in my lower helix piercing for over a month now and have no problems with it when it comes to that. I have had problems with how far it sticks out in the front. I was expecting it to lay down a little more than it does so sometimes it’ll get caught on clothing. Other than that super cute!

The only thing I can complain about is the length of these. I wish they were a bit shorter, they would be perfect!

I returned these because the were clearly not sterling, but some cheap bright plated metal.
