I needed an umbrella for traveling via air. I couldn't decide between two similar umbrellas offered on Amazon so I ordered both. I figured I'd leave the heavier one behind to keep in my car. This was the lighter and slightly smaller of the two. I'm very happy with the "pack-ability" and light weight of this umbrella. It is sturdy enough but not as "Beefy" as the other choice. It's ready to fly!

The umbrella is compact and lightweight. It's small enough to fit in a crossbody purse, perfect for traveling. It doesn't feel very sturdy, so I won't use it on windy days, but it seems perfect for light rain and sun protection.

This umbrella is perfect to stick in my purse or a pocket in my backpack and have with me at all times. It expands into a decently sized umbrella and seems durable!

It is very flimsy. I do not expect it to last but a few times of using. However, for the price, it was great for my travels because it was light weight and small.

....and so compact it will fit inside most women's purses! Great for traveling to rainy climates, such as Western Europe.

Hard to open and close.

With “atmospheric river” and “bomb cyclone” both featured in current weather forecast, took new umbrella out for first time today and it performed very well, seems strong without being large or heavy, definitely small enough for backpack/tote/etc., perfect size in that regard, and big enough circumference to protect well from rain. Only caveat is it has so far been somewhat difficult to open. At first couldn’t get it to go up at all, but — after checking Amazon customer queries — did manage to put it up with perseverance. While I was out I had to take it down at one point when entering a building, and when I left the building a few minutes later and tried to put the umbrella back up, I once again had some difficulties. However, eventually it worked out. Am assuming it’s just a stiffness issue that will go away after a few more rainy day outings (pretty much everyday occurrences around here this time of year). Happy with the purchase.

Great design and portability; very sturdy and well-made. Opens easily and folds up without any problems. I love its compactness, and it's an attractive umbrella.

metal frame is not strong and manual open. difficulty in getting it to click into place.

I used this as both a sun and rain umbrella for a summer trip. It worked well and I was able to open and close it without issue each day. I liked the small size as it was compact enough to be tossed into a purse without too much hassle.
