popcorn and I'll keep experimenting with it and hope it gets better over time
I got the Bravit Popcorn Machine in a timely manner and for a fair price. I got this brand because it came with an on/off switch. As far as performance is concerned, the jury is still out. The few times that I've used it, so far, the kernels that do not pop go all over the place, half the scoop of required kernels do not pop, and I wonder if I can put more than one scoop of kernals in the heating chamber. I am using Orville R. popcorn and I'll keep experimenting with it and hope it gets better over time. If it doesn't work out, I'll will switch to one of the larger machines that uses oil and makes a lot of popcorn at one time, similar to the movie theatres.

Not satisfied.
Not all corn popped. Kernals and popped corn flew everywhere.I would like to return.

Disappointed
I bought the Bravit Popcorn maker about 3 weeks ago. I've used it twice since received. Both times with the same results. Less than half of the kernels pop. I ended up scooping out the un-pop kernels and put them back in the popper. But I have to wait several minutes for the popper to cool down before I'm able to pop again. That's another thing, the popper gets very hot. Thankfully it shuts itself off so I guess that's one positive note. If I had the packaging still, I would have returned this popper.

Cheap, easy, and effective
This little thing is aggressive! It'll shoot out an entire big bowl of popcorn in under 3 minutes. Definitely worth the cheap price. It does however shoot a couple rogue pieces out that'll fly across the table but it's usually only one or two.

Good for popcorn, bad for green coffee.
If I were using this to make popcorn, I'd be pretty satisfied with it. It's a small body, the fan is very strong and creates a nice heat vortex to lift the kernels, and it heats quickly. However, I wasn't planning on using it to make popcorn, I was planning on using it to roast coffee beans. And for that it would be exceptional due to the strong fan and the small size EXCEPT... there's a safety shut-off when it gets too hot. And "too hot" for popcorn is roasting temperature for coffee. So it shuts off just as the coffee starts roasting. I thought about disassembling it and trying to disable the thermometer in some way, but the body is held together with one standard philips head screw and one three-pronged philips head screw. I've never seen a three-pronged philips head screw before, and couldn't get it out, so rather than buying a three-pronged screwdriver, I decided to go another direction and just get a popper that had coffee-positive reviews.

I'd recommend a bigger hood
It works well but I wish it popped without getting messy. The only drawback is the fact that it pops everywhere but it works well, I'd recommend a bigger hood. I've had popcorn fly across the room and that was unfortunate.

Popped and unpopped woes.
I'd say approximately 33% of the kernels come flying out of the machine unpopped. I simply put them back in and turn the machine back on. The machine doesn't turn off for me so I guess that's good. Using a hot air corn popper is supposed to be quick and easy. It's a hassle so I'm wishing I would have opted for a different machine. Maybe the smaller machines are just that way?
