Looks and fit great.
Purchased this for replacement tuners for an older nylon string guitar. It was a perfect fit. Suggest adding wax into peg holes to ease tuning and squeaky tuners. Good deal and price.

good with the bad
I bought this for a Yamaha 170A. The string roller mount fit perfectly. It rolls well. Looks as good as you have scene.T he screw holes do not match up. They are off by a 1/16th of an inch. A head of a screw broke off ( other have said this as well.)

Perfect fit. 5 million stars.
I purchased these Mr. Power machine heads to replace the ones on a early 2000's Yamaha CG-150CA. Once I removed the old machine heads, it took about 15 mins to install. The screw holes matched up perfectly. I used the new screws provided and the upgrade was easy. With these type of screws you want to get it tight but don't Godzilla it. I didn't have any screws strip out. Before purchasing, I measured using the template on the product page. I don't think the sizing template is entirely accurate. Using the template I fully expected to have to drill some starter holes in the headstock. But like I said, the holes matched perfectly so I had that going for me which is nice. I've upped some pictures for your viewing pleasure. I think the final result turned out nice. I can't wait to string this bad boy up and give it a go.

Perfectly nstalled with middling skills
I have a precious mid-'50s Levin, the "Swedish Gibson," bought in the '60s from a friend who bought it in Sweden. History: Levin, an old world luthier studio, took a break in manufacture during WWII, Sweden being neutral. The tuning machine apparatus was made post-war when stainless steel was rare - so that carbon steel was used for the outer plate, the cogs unable to tolerate the stress of pig steel. Eventually, the lower E machine gave way - even the best guitar repair shop here no matching cog, though trying valiantly with an alien cog. So, I bought this with principles both mechanical and aesthetic in mind on Friday, received it today, and installed and re-strung in two-hours. NOTE: You would know that not all plate holder holes match all guitars, so that on each side, screws 2 & 3 fit perfectly; I had to prime new holes into the wood for screws 1 & 3 - doing so on a white blanket on our principal dining table, like a surgical theatre (hahahaha). I primed the new holes with a brass nail and small hammer, my fingers the buffer between head and wood, and it worked fine. Then, installing both sides was a breeze, re-stringing and tuning. --- For others bothered by the machining, you should examine the product well before installation, sizing everything before you get busy. To paraphrase, "measure twice, install once." --- This is a fine mechanical tuning machine. Levin, now long out of its artistry, would be proud. My thanks to Mr. Power.

The screws might as well be made of butter
I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if that were an option. The heads of two of the screws literally sheared off while installing them, and I did not feel like I'd put much pressure on them. I've installed tuners on guitars a dozen times or so and never had this happen. They look good, and I'm keeping them, although that's less by choice and more out of necessity, since the shafts of the two broken screws are stuck in the headstock.
