Truly Scrumptious Dulse
This is the finest I've had. Chewie and clean. The health benefits are wonderful too; loaded with iron and so many other nutrients. Frankly, I have not used as a bacon etc. I eat dulse from the bag like popcorn while watching a film. Not too much as it is so tasty I suppose you could do a bag at a sitting. Don't. This nutrient powerhouse is best in 1/2 once (and that's a big helping) indulgences. You either like it's day-at-the-sea flavor or you don't. I share and have black and white responses. Try this brand/sea veggie, and if you like it, you will have discovered a wonderfully healthful treat. Texture is kinda like fruit leather and its taste is smokey sea. That's the best I can think to describe. I did 'toast' a few small pieces in toaster oven (350 for 5 minutes) and got a crunchier version with same delightful taste.

Good Seaweed
Tastes great in smoothie, fresh & blends well into smoothies (what My husband & I mainly sue ir for). It rocks - We highly recommend it.

Versatile, delicious, nutritious
I have been using this for years and must rave about it; it is consistently fresh, supple, carefully harvested and packaged, and tasty, It lends itself to just slapping in sandwiches as well as using in any soups or stir-fries I might make. It may have a blush of sea-salt on it, but that's the nature of dried seaweed.

Tastes good and salty, but watch out for the sand
I like the taste of the small brown seaweed flakes. It is saltier than I expected, but it’s good. I sprinkle it on rice, soups, sandwiches, etc. it takes the place of salt. But, it contained some sand which you have to beware of while you are chewing.

Rocks Rocks and more Rocks
I’m lucky I still have teeth. Tastes great, super healthy, but it’s real gamble. Basically inedible. Lots of minerals though.

Seaweed
I bought this product because of a Food Network program (Food Fact or Fiction) in which Dulse was said to taste just like bacon and can be used in place of real bacon. With these flakes, my wife and I both did not get any indication whatsoever of a bacon taste, but a strong seaweed flavor instead. I could not justify a review less than 5 stars because I'm happy with the nutritional value that Dulse provides and it does not ruin anything we might use it in. Although I will not purchase the flakes again, I may try the strips (which is what was used in the Food Network program) to see if the bacon flavor will come through in that form but I have to be realistic and realize it may be no different than the flakes. I will review that product once I decide to try it.
