Fantastic
Fantastic, great feel, sleek look, and flexible. The sound quality is crisp. You can hear bass tones, mid tones, and upper towns, but not overwhelming bass. You can hear it well but not quiet feel it. I already purchased a pair of the HD-one. But the tension starts hurting my ears after a while. I wanted some over the ear headphones and went for these. They are comfortable and no aching after longer periods of use. The downside would have to be the volume is a little lower, because they need a little more power to run, but since they are noise isolating it kinda balances out.The only thing I needed to complain is shipping, it took four days to ship, but arrived in two days after that (for me it was next state over). However, now they are prime eligible so that would be resolved. After three months one of the metal trim, kind of like clips across the headband portion, started to loosen up and then they snapped, as seen in the photo. I am very disappointed and I can confirm the top part of headband is plastic, only the adjusters are metal. Contacted status and they said it classifies under "user-inflicted damaged" and they would not replace them. I expressed my thorough disappointment and the owner got in touch and apologized that my inquire was mistakenly handled and that their earlier manufactured headphones tended to have these problems, and they have since addressed. He arranged for a new pair and I got it the following day.

Practically Flawless, Unbearably Gorgeous, and Captivating Sound Quality.
I've been a fan of Status Audio since they first released the HD One, the 'Bang for the Buck' headphones that both killed the under $50 market for headphone enthusiasts, and it gave a little known brand a solid platform to stand on. Now, after wearing their new product, the HD Two Headphones for a little more than two months, I'm ready to finally review themFirst off, these are some comfortable headphones. The ear cushioning is like a soft leather, but they have the perfect amount of firmness. I have an average head (or so I assume) and these fit great around my ear. They are over-ear headphones, so most of this cushion will be on your head not your ears. The headband is also very soft and has a hearty amount of cushioning as well.Secondly is the user-friendliness of these headphones. They have a dual input on both ear-cups, so it's up to you for which side you want the cord plugged into. It also has a HUGE adjustment scale for the headband. I only adjust about 3 notches, but there is like 20 more adjustment notches left. Included with the headphones are 2 cables, one as a regular cable, the other is comes with Apple-device friendly In-Line controls.Thirdly, the construction and appearance for these unrivaled. They look very professional, and feel very well crafted. They are made with sturdy stainless steel, but they do not feel heavy. They come in a neatly packaged box, with a carrying case containing the headphones, a cleaning cloth, a Status Audio card (of some sorts), and the 2 cables mentioned before hand.NOTE: THESE HEADPHONES DO NOT FOLD UP, ONLY THE EAR CUPS TWIST TO FIT INTO THE CASE.And finally, the sound. As the product is stated, they are over ear headphones (or 'Circumaural). Combining that with some nice ear-cup insulation, you have some partial sound-canceling headphones. With that said, they sound FANTASTIC. I have a very large music library, ranging from bass-heavy music by Chief Keef and Dillon Francis, to more melodic stuff by Tycho and Coldplay. These headphones handle them flawlessly. Great, clear highs. Deep, indulging bass. Stand-out, head-nodding mids and vocals. It is unbelievable that headphones at a $100 are this captivating. Though, as one little nitpick, some songs that are usually pretty mellow on the bass can be a little overpowering at some points. But that could be easily fixed with some quick equalizer changes on your music playing platform. Now for some PROS/CONS:PROS:- Comfortable- Great, clear sound in all ranges- Comes with some extra goodies AND A CARRYING CASE!- Only a hundred bucksCONS:- The bass is sometimes a little over powering- Smears and fingerprints are becoming more frequent, but luckily there is an included cleaning clothTL;DR - They are good, get them

Even sound- non durable materials
Pros:Thoughtful designCable ChoiceMetal accentsCons:Non durable headband breaks after a few months- the metal is aesthetic but does not contribute any strength to the product. After about 5 months the HD Two's thin plastic headband snapped in halfEdit:Status got in touch with me and explained that the initial production run had some issues with the headband. They are sending me a replacement. As long as the part is strong enough, and the headphones work the rating has been bumped back up. Hopefully these will work in the long run.

Very disappointed about support from a company that touts it's ability ...
I purchased this product in August and it was broken by September with normal wear and tear. The metal band that you can see underneath (where your head rests puts pressure on the plastic on the top as you wear them and take them on and off so they have very little give to them. I have attached some pictures to show you where you may have problems with this product.Another issue - I emailed support on September 23rd to see what could be done to replace these and I haven't received any communication about a strategy to use these - it's now October 6. A support person just told me "they were looking into it." To be honest - I don't understand how upon sending the pictures I've attached they don't have a policy or procedure for me to get a replacement, or at least next steps. Very disappointed about support from a company that touts it's ability to work directly with consumers.I've purchased three pieces of Status Audio equipment most of it I've been fairly happy with. I would avoid this product and I'm now skeptical of buying anything else if I can't get support on it.

Broke after 2 months
Got these 2 months ago.My first impression was that they sounded a bit low but I guess that was because I mostly use in-ear headphone. After the first month, I was convinced that these headphone were good valve. However, today the headphone snapped while I was taking them off.It broke at the edge of the metal band (NB. there are 2 metal bands) located at the top of the headphone. The material seems to be plastic and as a result, its fragile.I wish I had paid for the warranty.
