Grim Reaper Scythe

I bought this with the Grim Reaper Costume for my son and it goes well with it. It is the material I expected and it was packaged very well. It was sealed in one of those stiff plastic where you need a scissors to cut open, very nice. The staff is three pieces that you screw together and the blade screws on top, making it four pieces in all. This is to be used for trick or treating this year and I am sure it will play it's part.

Exactly what I was expecting! The price is much lower than anything I could find locally in chain stores. It was used as a prop for a Grim Reaper Costume on Halloween. The size is just right for a 10 year old. My son played with it a few days prior to Halloween and considering how rough he plays while battling villains the sickle held up well without breaking.

Made of thin flimsy plastic the scythe at top is suppose to screw onto the long handle the entire seam was cracked kid really wanted this was told no replacement just offer a refund and no replacement at all.BEWARE IS JUNK my kid wanted this it came broke no offer to replace at all so to satisfy kid I used silver duct tape and wrapped scythe on pole which looks like he found it in someones garbage unacceptable.When it is for a kid and their hopes are high and it comes broken replace it don't just want it returned when you are just going to toss it and refund the money.Refunding is good but giving it to a child who has waited for it and it show up but broken then to take it away is wrong.Should just offer refund and let kid keep the broken one.BUYER BEWARE head to a REAL costume store.

It got the job done I only wore it one day for Halloween but it is really flimsy and looked like I probably wouldn’t have lasted that long.

I bought this to go with my 9-year-old's reaper costume for Halloween this year. Overall, it's what you'd expect from a cheap Halloween accessory, hollow molded plastic parts that will break with any kind of force. It didn't screw together very cleanly as a few of the edges were bent, so it ended up being a bit crooked. It was also a good bit shorter than a reaper's sickle should be (you know, all the images you see of him leaning on his sickle like a cane and it's taller than he is? This isn't.). That being said, my son was thrilled with it, and despite being a cheap Halloween accessory it has been played with several times since then and still hasn't broken.

This is just a plastic scythe but that is exactly what we wanted. The end unscrews which made it easy to pack in the suitcase. Worked great for the Father Time costumer.

Kid opened it the day before Halloween for 10 minutes. It was broken already. Did not hit anyone or anything. He was swinging it around and it tore through the thin plastic at the joint up top.

Came in time for Halloween and worked with his scarecrow costume.

Luce muy bien. Mi esposo lo uso acompañado de un traje de la muerte, pero se le dobló a las horas de estarlo usando, y le tuvo que poner cinta para sostenerlo. Eso fue lo que no me gustó. Debería tener más calidad en el material.

My son broke it about 15 mins after he got it

Piece of junk. Very flimsy and cracked literally within 10min of assembly. I had to tape every joint just to make it usable for Halloween, but it will be in the garbage right after. This thing should code $2 not $15. Do not waste your money.
