The product is exactly what it says and the quality is fine. However, you need to seal the ends either by cutting with a hot blade or using a lighter after cutting with scissors. But this then limits how much it will stretch so getting anything large throng the cut end might be problematic even if it will easily pass along the rest of the length. You could seal after pushing, say, a small plug through the end but it might be tricky to do this without causing heat damage to the cable.

I bought this for use as a wrap around cabling to a 3d print extruder.The 8mm version was just about right to take the 8 cables and even managed to squeeze in a 2pin connector. (push it over the connector, don't pull)When you cut it you'll want to make sure it doesn't start unravelling, I tried glue but melting the ends worked better.My only problem is what to do with the other 9 meters of it.

I used this to cover a chain to be used to secure garden furniture to avoid scratches. Easily slipped over a 3/4" diameter link, and after cutting used a match to melt the braid and prevent fraying. Seems hard wearing and so far so good

Really helped tidy those cables

This is not to be used with Cables, its intended purpose is not correct, you can not use this for PC cables as advertised, there is not cutout to wrap this sleeve around your cables, the only way is to put them through a start hole and take them out the other end, which is an impossible task for any cable with such as hdmi, display port or power lead, can really only work with usb cables.
